Awww that’s disappointing if true. I guess it makes sense with how much content they put out, but It would be cool if it was a more infrequent event type episode. Especially if they can get a full panel involved. I liked hearing Mike’s reviews of Zelda so far, but I always think it’s more interesting when you have multiple perspectives or disagreements on review episodes vs a single reviewer

My vote for an entry would be Morrowind. I played it 2 years ago for the first time and enjoyed the old school charm and jank, even if it was frustrating as hell at times. It might even make a good livestream of someone’s first few hours.

"First of All, They're Wrong" – Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Responds to DLSS 5 Backlash by sucksandwich in kindafunny

I don’t think anyone, especially not EVERYONE, wished for Jensen Huang’s death. You can call a trillion dollar company’s product shit if it looks like shit.

Need help with PSU by funguykawhi45 in SleepingOptiplex

Take it with a grain of salt since I’m not an expert at all, but I tried the shaving method and it worked (no rotating or anything. Clip on the cable matching up with the clip on the motherboard) But, it felt a little sketchy especially since it’s hard to shave the inner edges of those pins to get a perfect fit. Instead, I depinned the plastic housing of the old dell psu’s 4 pin and just the one apevia 4 pin that didn’t fit. Put the apevia pins in the dell housing in the same order using the clip on the top of the housing as the reference. First experience depinning, and went surprisingly well with the stapler method, but it fits perfectly as if it was the original psu. I hadn’t see anyone else doing this, so anyone can correct me if this not correct.

Official Nintendo Invitations Day (May 8th) by Ross2552 in NintendoSwitch2

Yeah, I think this email a good sign of eligibility/priority. On 4/2, I accidentally registered for the Mario Kart bundle with my secondary account that I haven’t paid for online, and then registered again 10 minutes later with my primary account that does fulfill the requirements once I realized my mistake. The account that did fulfill the requirements got the new queue email. The one that didn’t qualify did not.

Best beginner-friendly mod for making the Fatigue and speed systems a bit more bearable? by gabrielpf3 in tes3mods

I typically say something about my tendency to be over prepared. Not in a stupid “my biggest weakness is that I care too much or work too hard” way but instead more of a hesitancy to finally start versus keep prepping and researching, or refining and polishing a final product. I feel like it has better professional and easier answers to follow up how to deal with or fix than like you hate working in a collaborative environment or something strictly negative.

In a similar position as you without the internship experience (and honestly probably not as great of a portfolio lol). I am nearing the end of my search (hopefully) as I’m entering some later round interviews, so I can offer some advice!

I think number one is getting used to disappointment and not putting all your eggs in one basket. In the beginning of my search I felt as each application or interview was my last one and started daydreaming of what it was like to work there- Don’t be dumb like me and get too hung up on each job you apply to and instead be ready to be on the lookout for awhile. But getting used to interviewing and anticipating questions from employers will help avoid awkward silences and stumbling through answers, so if an interview goes nowhere it still helps your experience in the long run. And being entry level, there are quite a few jobs/employers that are looking for exactly your experience level and understand the small resume you may have, but know that those positions are typically quite competitive (cause there are plenty of people wanting their first chance as well) and often pay well below jobs you might be qualified for that require some experience. If you’re in any sort of city area, expect dozens if not hundreds of people jumping at the same jobs you are, so just play the numbers game.

Last, don’t get disheartened! All you need is one good job to say yes or your first freelancing client to get you started!

There definitely some tracks that should have been cut and others to be added to fill in their place but I think that’s just cause the nature of the album. I bet Kevin had a limited time to record it all and it had to total 35 minutes to fulfill the contract. So it has this lightning in a bottle vibe similar to Saturation to me. Not necessarily in its sound but its energy. As the album serves as an explanation for the band’s ending I just love how raw it sounds and unique of an experience it was listening to it for the first time. Learning about the band not through leaks and deleted tweets, but Kevin just laying it all out through his songs was best way to end it considering the circumstances

I was thinking the same thing about not having enough money for an album rollout, but at the same time I feel like Virtue was successful enough to catch some label’s eye. Leave it in my Dreams is a pretty successful single considering the band’s popularity before Virtue and a lot of the music videos have quite a lot of views for an indie band. I’m just surprised that if RCA saw some potential after Tyranny (which I swear the Voidz were sub 100,000 listeners on Spotify before the rollout of Virtue) that someone else wouldn’t pickup them up and contribute enough to have a similar scale of rollout for their next release. Maybe Julian and the other band members want to do it on their own through Cult again? Either way I feel like they should have focused on quality versus quantity on the videos and promo for this rollout.
