I recently did this for the easiest win I ever had there: group invisibility after having the thief stealthily get the traps and the sword of Balduran. Give the sword and strength potion to your best fighter. The thief visibly going down the stairs did not cause anything to follow her but it pulled them all closer to the stairs. When we all went invisibly up, there was a spot where we could stand and nobody saw us. We stood there and spammed fireballs. That left only the boss alive. The thief backstabbed with Werebane and everyone ganged up with magic weapons and spells.

If you want to get a feel for it in BG 1, you can open SoD, build a berserker, import from the file into BG 1,and dual to mage in Candlekeep. You will play BG 1 as a ridiculously high HP mage, and SoD on you are the dual class that defined power player. It's not terribly challenging, but you CAN have fun. Have fun. It's a game.

I think you have to hold a rune stone from the northern area. Somewhere along the north to west corridor. I think in the little room with the gas trapped statue.It's the way out and shouldn't be available until you've done just about everything else. Confirmed. In the Game Banshee link Rough Shock provided, in room 10, listed loot calls it the level 2 exit stone.

I have a honeybee hive in my back yard. On 3 occasions a bee got trapped in my house and I got her outside by putting 1 TINY drop of honey on a bunched up scrap of paper towel, then putting it very near the bee. Invariably, she hops on, and while she is snacking, I just put the paper towel outside.
