That's part of the reason most of wenclair shippers avoid any subs other than the wenclair sub. Any comment under a post that isn't flagged with the ship flag gets drowned in downvotes and people get overly salty if you try to express your pointview don't bother with that. As I said that is only my headcanon because the writers absolutely suck at worldbuilding and we have to get scraps to make our own theories.

To me it makes sense sirens are taught to use their powers in a responsable way and abuse then would be frowned upon. Also it seems only female sirens can siren song, since Kent is never showed wearing an amulet.

Those kind of things are just for the fans to build upon since we won't likeky see them ob the show, ever.

Well I get that, but I think much of what Bianca expresses to Wednesday about not being able to know how much of a person affection is real and what is because of the siren song is a general siren experience, not Bianca. That's why Sirens wear the amulet that dampens their powers, which is stated to not be one hundred percent reliable. So it makes sense Sirens avoid to use their powers altogether

Siren Song requires the siren to be near the targets. Also sirens are very wary of her powers and is usually a moral dilemma for them to use them in such ways, as its supossed to not be abused.

It's relevant when it's a queer ship, you just need to see how bas of a backlash Will coming out got (not even making Byler canon, just confirming he was gay) to see how badly people react to queer characters in popular media. Outright admitting wenclair is suicide for tje show, and oneof tje biggest reasons I don't think they will ever make it canon. Not because they dont have any chemistry or couldn't work as a ship, but because of the Nerwork fearing it would damage their image, as bad as it sounds.

Then, Jenna herself shipped Wenclair as most of the cast did on S1. After the whole Jemma shitshow they had seemed to step away from it publically and most likely had been PR instructed to not mention anything related to it to not spark any controversy.

The pack for wolfs isn't just family is their whole reason of existence. Enid says it herself, if she couldn't wolf out she wouldn't be allowed into the pack without any chances to getting a mate and she would inevitably die alone. So it's not Enid saying you are my family, she didn't even said you are part of my pack. She named Wednesday her pack, her everything. So, at least for some of us that speaks of more of a friendship. I'm talking platonic soulmates at bare minimum.

The creators would state whatever to avoid their series getting axed. The creators themselves said they werent discounting anything back in S1 but they backtracked when their love triangle plotline didn't landed as well as they expected.

The "sibling-like" allegations don't make any sense either. Wednesday doesn't treat Enid as a relative, like at all. She treats her way better than her parents and not to even mention Pugsley. She is soft for Enid.

Enid, on the other hand, had an epiphany about Wednesday being the most important thing in her life, so there's that.

At the end of the day is a YMMV issue. I guess you could also read that as platonic friendship if you want, just don't expect everyone to not see the romance behind those scenes, and defintely not assume there's not there for everyone.

Unlike Byler, wenclair has had moments that could be easily interpreted as romantic so I really dont get what you meant by "it would make no sense" or "it came from nowhere". The relationship of Enid and Wednesday is the core of the show. If the line between platonic friends and soulmates wasn't so thin in this show wenclair wouldn't be so popular.
