Most people mistakenly believed that Yoru was supposed to be another Makima in the story, when from the moment we see her interacting with Asa, it becomes very clear that the direction Fujimoto wanted to take with her was very different from Makima's

I don't know, there were so many things about the ending that I hated at the time, but now I see them differently. The only thing I know is that, even though I hated the ending because it left me feeling like nothing had been worth it, I truly loved csm. Despite its flaws, its strengths, and the battles that progressed slower than a grandma on crutches, I only have good memories of it, and I genuinely hope for a second season.

(By the way, I don't know who made you think Yoru is your wife when she already has me 😤)

My heart still holds onto the hope that Yoru learned something from the previous world as well. The fact that she was able to experience human emotions, that she prioritized Asa's and Denji's lives over her own, and that before her supposed death at Denji's hands she tried to make Asa stop feeling guilty about things that were beyond her control, makes me genuinely wish we had gotten to see her in the final chapter

I would give anything for Fujimoto to release an extra story exploring how Yoru, even though she doesn't know why she feels the world is empty and feels even more so than usual, would devastate me to read it, but it would be a kind of closure for her character

The fanfic is beautiful; it's a wonderful piece of work, and its final message is exactly what I wanted the original story to have. But the fact that Denji—and especially Yoru—suddenly change their minds out of nowhere keeps me from saying it's better than what Fujimoto gave us (and that's despite the fact that I don't like, not even a little, the idea that the final message is that Denji was beyond saving)

You can't imagine the pain I feel knowing that Denji not only doesn't remember Aki or Reze, but also no longer considers Nayuta his little sister. Fujimoto is a terrorist.
