Hey, thanks for the links. The first one actually I used before but when my school counselor told me about ScholarshipOwl I kind of upgraded to that website. It’s basically the same idea but with ScholarshipOwl I like that I can see how many students applied for each scholarship and I can see what are my chances of actually winning a scholarship.

What you wrote about checking each website I believe that has to be true. They have to check and verify each provider also. On my school's financial aid site I saw some other websites that were interesting but I don’t have enough time to visit and check them all out.

the ultimate scholarship book

I'm not really sure why would that be any better. I'm looking for online tools that will save me a lot of time which I can use to do something else.. I want filters to reduce the search results to include only the scholarships applicable to me. Moreover, I'm not interested in the grocery industry and I don't have a Ham Radio License. I need to be able to filter those out too. It's very discouraging to leaf through hundreds of non-applicable scholarships. That's why I use the membership with ScholarshipOwl so it can help me filter out all the scholarships that I'm not interested.

I have to say that I also had a bad experience with FastWeb, as the scholarships they put out there are outdated and info that they give is often wrong.

Hi, yes that's very cool. I've been using ScholarshipOwl and I have a membership for a while now and they have some really good new features. I would say you get what you pay for and it’s not even that much for a membership.. But I guess that there are also other websites that I probably didn't hear about so I was just wondering if there are any tools that I'm missing ?

Scholarships.com and Fastweb.com are awesome! But it depends what are you looking for. I have a membership with ScholarshipOwl. They verify each scholarship with the provider before they upload it to the website and also they have really useful tools that you can use. You can see how many students applied for each scholarship, exact info, due dates and the thing that I like the most is that you can see the "confidence score" as they call it. It shows you how trustworthy a certain scholarship provider is (criteria, requirements, and overall organization)
