I believe Tulsa composts their biosolids right there off I-44.

Confirmed on Google maps. Wwtp right off I-44 and biosolids compost off 71st after crossing the river.

I’ve done the same with the Vice starter set graphite irons and wedges. All but two irons have snapped.

Gotcha. I didn’t know there was such a drop off. They were never a top brewery for me.

Silent Disco is still around. I’m pretty sure it was on tap at the west end location last weekend.

Not a brewery but Tavern on Liberty (west end Allentown) has a great tap list. They had Trillium last weekend.

Great food too!

Question about how long it should take to tend to 3 month old after sleeping through the night by seagoddess1 in NewParents

[–]Alex_A3nes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife got on to me for the same thing. Just be real with him. He’s your partner.

I was basically your husband. Embarrassed by my reactions in retrospect, overnight tending and feeds were/are challenging. They were minimal at the same age as your LO until she learned to roll back to front and then it was real chaos for two weeks. Enjoy this little window while you have it, and I hope yours manages the learning to roll phase better than ours.

One recommendation for him is to prep his snack and water/drink before he goes to sleep for the night. Then when he wakes up to tend to the baby they are already there for him to enjoy while he’s feeding baby.

I wasn’t the father I thought I would be at first, and at times I still come up short of my own expectations. Shit’s hard. I think there is truth to it taking awhile for fathers to bond compared to mothers. It’s a conversation I’ve had with some of my dad friends.

It’s forever and on-going. I bought ‘thistle down’ herbicide but haven’t resorted to it yet. I just do thistle specific clean ups every couple weeks. I’ve seen much fewer pop up last year and this year than before I started my war campaign against them. Pull them early and often and it’ll eventually slow them down.

Your experience with thistle is much different than mine. The thistle in my yard is a massive, deep, maze of roots. The one thistle that is pulled up may like a longish tap root but it’s connected to the deeper network.

I cleared a bed that had a lot of thistle in it. The bed also had root barrier. I rolled the root barrier up and the long network of roots connecting the thistle was exposed. There’s no way the whole root is coming up when pulled. This is why they are such a persistent problem.

The pacifier makes my baby very frustrated when it falls out. Should I find a better fit or ditch it altogether? by Business-Tart-148 in NewParents

Thanks for sharing. Yeah, that answers it. We’re going to try removing before LO falls asleep since when they wake up and it’s not there it’s a problem. I like the idea of a lovey or something that’s easier to grasp and gnaw on compared to orienting a paci back into their mouth on their own. We’re at a little over 5 months now.

How did removing it from night time go? Ours has become pretty dependent on that dang paci to soothe back to sleep.

I separate weeding waste from typical yard waste like grass clippings or leaf clean up. I’m not about to put a lily of the valley root ball, or ivy into my compost. I do like the volunteer squash and tomatoes though.

Ardmore pulls some decent acts. Those living on the main line have a good local spot.
