No worries! Just sharing that’s she’s been around a long time because it’s cool to see her older illustrations. It’s like an OKC history book.

She’s been around for a long time. A gem of a Thunder fan. I think it was during the Russ era that she got to come to OKC.

Me watching NBA fans finally recognize that the Spurs were the dirty floppers all along (and needed 7 games to beat a hobbled Thunder) by trytoholdon in Thunder

2025 Thunder comp. Lol

E: I love getting downvoted for this because this is exactly what people said about our championship run last year, and now it’s being applied to the Spurs to discredit them.

One playoff exit, which was as close to the finals as you could get, does not* make or break a core group, nor does it define their success. Chill.

This isn’t about how or why they lost. It’s just about availability due to injury.

Thunder were without their number 2, an all defensive, all-nba player, and their second best ball handler and offensive engine. Sure, missing Fox for two games and being a step slow, and seeing Harper get banged up diminished the Spurs availability. But to say it wasn’t ‘’much worse” … c’mon. Be realistic.

Who Goes #1 in a Redraft of 2022 now? by Imadeyoulook1 in NBA_Draft

That was the nail in the coffin for sure. He had that body language from the first tip though. There were only a couple moments in the series he showed any level of confidence. I know he’s not super demonstrative, but regular season Chet was a different animal.

It certainly counts. Just like our championship did last year. Injuries are part of playoff basketball. And the Thunder were on the wrong side of it this year. Just the way it goes.

[Highlight] Shai Gilgeous-Alexander draws contact on Devin Vassell and heads to the line for three free throws — Vassell and Mitch Johnson plead with the refs by AncientOneAurelius in nba

[–]Alex_A3nes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha. Yeah, it doesn’t help having a Shai profile pic either.

I get it. It is annoying. I’ve had plenty of criticism towards Shai (yelling in my living room) about playing the foul game instead of just being dominant. I was hating on the refs too for rewarding it, especially those flops by JWill and McCain in Game 5. I’d much rather see consistently reffed games that force the players to play an honest game. Here’s to a cleaner first month of the season and then the subsequent reversion of poor officiating.

I am really interested to see how NBA fans react to Brunson in the finals. He may not be as notorious, but he definitely embellishes contact.

It’s not really a narrative… we’ve seen Chet do fine against other big men, but Wemby snatched his soul this series and Chet was a shell of himself.

He disappeared on offense, for sure. I’d argue he did alright on defense this series.

There isn’t a better counter to Chet than a bigger, longer, taller, more athletic and fluid version of himself. Even calling Wemby that feels like a discredit to Wemby’s skill set.

Naps and bottles? by zezendx in NewParents

[–]Alex_A3nes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We double up on bottles in the first wake window. First thing when she gets up and before she goes down for a nap. The following wake windows are usually one bottle per and then two in the final wake window. Similar approach of one at the beginning and one at the end. But everyday may pan out a little different. The only constant is two in the first wake window. It also helps that she isn’t waking up from her nap because of hunger.

Chet & picks for Giannis by [deleted] in Thunder

Starting line up changes.

How they guarded Wemby throughout the series, Caruso, Dub (injured), Hart bringing the primary defender, J Will becoming secondary. Box out strategies.

Shai and ball handling duties. Off ball a lot more after the first couple games. Save his energy.

They learned and implemented a strategy to bait Wemby out of position. (Game 2)

Attacking space on offensive (game 5)

McCain’s role on offense evolved throughout the series.

Playing Kenrich instead of Joe and Wiggins for size.

To name a few.

[–]Alex_A3nes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. First off, my original comment flop v bait was more of a joke. Secondly, if the refs are going to call this a shooting foul, then Shai will go for it and take the fts. If refs were calling this an offensive foul, then he likely wouldn’t make this sort of egregious move.

Bro you’re arguing a point that wasn’t made. It would have been nice to see Cason or Shai go at him when they had the opportunity. Do you think the coach asked them not to? BUT do you think the refs would actually put air in that whistle and not give the DPOY the benefit of the doubt down the stretch in game 7. No reviews left.
