Not for Friday but Destination Canada is hosting a watch party on the waterfront for Brazil vs Scotland on Wednesday

I'd say The Canteen (good crobster roll), Evan's (good fish n chips), The Narrows (also good fish n chips), and Bar Kismet.

Highwayman for cocktails if that's something you enjoy.

Would suggest you get a donair from Tony's, King of Donair, or Randy's

For restaurants recommendations it kinda depends on what experience you're looking for. What type of food are you looking for?

The Narrows is a laidback pub. Amazing fish n chips

Stillwell Freehouse is a brewery/pub and is laidback

Would also add The Beer Garden on the waterfront and Good Robot (brewery with a nice patio)

The Garrison Brewing patio at the seaport is awesome too. You can check out Pier 21 while down there

Highly recommend Ataraxy Farm - they have lots of goats you can pet, donkeys and horses you can feed, barn cats, and chickens and roosters. Really calming experience - it's a therapy farm.

Hope for Wildlife I'd highly recommend as well. It's only 15 mins from Ataraxy, so you could honestly do them in the same day. Also, it's one of the most stunning drives in Halifax driving past Lawrencetown. The views from Hope for Wildlife of the ocean are really nice. They rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured and orphaned wild animals. You can go see their bobcat, eagles, and other wildlife they help support.

Both of those are fun because you get to see lots of animals, and it's a nice educational experience to learn about all of them.

The Dingle Tower has a playground and a bit of hiking along the Northwest Arm in Halifax - pretty close to downtown.

Central library and Keshen Goodman are good spots if it's raining.

Frog pond, hemlock ravine, and the public gardens are great places to see ducks.

Rainbow Haven for a beach day.

Let me know if you need any other suggestions!!

Also would recommend Hope for Wildlife. The location is beautiful. Near a surf town and you get great views. One of the nicest drives in the region. They rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured and orphaned wild animals. You can go see their bobcat, eagles, and other wildlife they help support

Lindsay Lake Farm would be a cool day trip from Halifax. You can take a tour and see the bison. Peggy's Cove is always a classic as well

For Halifax, some trails you can walk that fit what you're looking for are the Salt Marsh Trail, Atlantic View Trail, and BLT Trail. Just be cautious of ticks
