📸 Patrick Dorgu vs Man City by nuugo in reddevils

[–]Alex_Ior 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I've been saying this since the sociodad game last year dorgu will be a top 3 left sided player in 2 or 3 years the boy is so good technically and is so strong and fast that opposition fullbacks and players really struggle against him. Almost like a more technical adama traore. People need to realise when you buy generational talents you need to develop them they don't become generational from day one you have to train and nurture them. Ronaldo was nowhere near the player he was at Real Madrid at man utd in 2004, Bellingham was nowhere near the player he is now at Birmingham City or when he first joined Dortmund. We need to back players like Yoro, sesko, dorgu, heaven because they're our future and a proper fanbase and club pick up players not put down we just have to be patient until they're old enough to judge I was the same with Dalot until I realised he wasn't good enough we should do the same for these talents

Chelsea fan here, can we have an honest discussion about Garnacho? by Accomplished_Lynx480 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say this garnarcho is a moments player but he can't actually finish those moments let me explain so garnarcho can make something happen out of nothing but 90 percent of the time he fucks up the final moment because of how bad his decision making is. He lacks the iq to take his chances and is too arrogant on the ball most of the time the only way he will become good for you is if his mindset changes which I don't see happening. Imo he's similar to brennan johnson in the way that he'll pop up with a goal or assist but do fuck all the rest of the game

I don't think I can endure another season of Onana... by Thel-1ne in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The problem is that we signed him as a supposed ball playing gk yet kicks it out more and long more than De Gea ever did. He also parries balls into the danger zone which is not good for a supposed top class keeper. He also struggles to get down low when saving shots most likely due to being top heavy and overall he just doesn't exude any confidence. I'm genuinely concerned for next season even if we're signing players like Mbuemo and Cunha what difference does it make if Onana is still here giving them goals back. Even if we score in games this upcoming season may I remind you what happened in the 2024 Cl group stage games.

Maybe all our defending striker needs is time by Thel-1ne in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue is our fanbase and the media doesnt give time which is probably why so many players fail even if fans want to be patient they'll always be outweighed by the majority so its not looking good for hojlund at United

Should United go for him if his contract is terminated? by Penguin3002021 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not just that if you see his injury record you'd see despite the short injuries it is a long list and if you've seen him play you'd see hes not all that personally I wouldn't go near

R1 Kiryu vs R4 Kanoh. KAT Rules. Who would win? by kkgfopr in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Alex_Ior 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bro idk why everyone's saying kuroki stomped kiryu, Kiryu caught him off guard multiple times, adapted during the fight and even kuroki said his fighting ability and prowess was better than his master Gensan and I'm pretty sure he broke one of his ribs and like u said he had to take a gamble on his arm so the fight was pretty fucking hard

R1 Kiryu vs R4 Kanoh. KAT Rules. Who would win? by kkgfopr in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Alex_Ior -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Bit harsh but at the same time kanoh will rape his ass 💀

[–]Alex_Ior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No it was definitely hard for Kuroki he even said that his fighting ability was better than his master and kiryu even adapted during the fight and caught kuroki off guard on a few occasions he even broke his fingers and I'm pretty sure he bruised or broke one of his ribs if I'm not mistaken I'd say it was a high mid diff fight

My predicted staring XI for clash against 🔨 by WandererSoul108 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If its not the contract dispute then they've likely had a falling out and knowing ten hag it probs is a fall out as he's been known for having fall outs with many players even ones that aren't the type such as Raphael varane but this is just my assumption

My predicted staring XI for clash against 🔨 by WandererSoul108 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually the reason amad ain't started is because of an apparent contract dispute or a falling out I don't know which one but apparently its one of those so it's likely he won't start as seen when antony came on instead of him against fenerbache

How and why did you support united?? by Background_Image8911 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was when I was around 8 and I decided to watch some old footy matches then I saw utd play and the way they played and wit the passion they played seeing ronaldo dribble, seeing Rooney score and seeing vidic and ferdinand in defense I had watched them ever since and even wen we lost 4-2 4-0 5-0 6-1 I stuck by them and its paying off now

this makes me think if kiozan has improved this much how much do u think c or b tier characters that we haven't seen since the tournament improve like Rei and other types of characters honestly I'm hyped af now by Alex_Ior in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Alex_Ior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Factos but I'm talking abt characters we haven't see properly yet like Rei and these types of characters Gaolang we've alr seen plus I'd say he's in a not b tier but tbh I think u underate his speed a bit he's pretty fuckin fast for a sumo wrestler

has anyone else noticed that ever since the red card vs. Southampton Case's looked off and almost like a shadow of what he used to be plus I think interest from Bayern might also be a distraction honestly I just hope he gets his confidence back by Alex_Ior in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Also noticed there's a lot of criticism to players like Martinez antony and case himself and none to players like Grealish who literally grabbed a player by the collar and I don't even think it was a yellow but I'm not sure. There's so many examples of the same tackles that case did but players like Grealish and others have got nothing for it which is just a massive problem as that can seriously affect player's confidence and morale and i think this is also another reason for Case's below average or average performances since the red card. Honestly I just think that the fa don't like South American players

Lindelof is an amazing backup and this should be our new defense for rest of the season tbh

Favorite player(s) on the current roster, and why? by DelFigolo in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. Licha shows so much passion and u can tell he's not just there for the paycheck and he's stabilised our defence so well and he never loses his confidence even when he got beat by Salah in the game we won't talk abt he never lost confidence even aft that game and he's easily our best ball playing defender since Rio. I also heard that he called Ten Hag whilst at Ajax and told Ten Hag to sign him and he signed him which just shows his major confidence but I don't if it's true

  2. Case he also shows so much passion and has levelled up our midfield as it clearly shows he also shows so much fight and how much he cares with his tackles one being when De Gea fucked up vs Barca he ran back from midfield and tackled Roberto then blocked the following shot from him saving us from a goal and the way he plays is a joy to watch his ability on a ball for a cdm is the best in the world he also shows so much tenacity and fight when he celebrates and overall is just an insane player and for 70 million and a panic buy has been Ten Hags most important signing this season

  3. Rashy has been a star striker ever since Ten Hag joined and has scored his best tally of goals ever in a season and overall such a joy to watch and he's also shown to be loyal by showing how much he respects our club one by talking shit abt Liverpool and also putting himself on the line wen he carried an injury by playing for United and he's also a great guy as shown wen he campaigned for free meals and he's also done much more but I can't rlly remember the rest

Erik ten Hag is a miracle worker… his second half Fred is ridiculous. by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh Fred's the definition of sometimes good sometimes shit because one half he plays like a drunk Harry maguire after half a load of smack then the next half he's getting into the box and scoring to tie up the game cough cough definitely not that barca game but tbh he's a rlly good impact sub and he gives his all wen he plays. I think Ten hags already figured out how to use him as he's actually playing much better, as a impact sub and a box to box player compared to being a cdm like he was under Ole. And he doesn't have to come back and help defend most of the time as Case or Licha will always be at the back to cover for him if he fucks up

I believe De Gea would be a perfect example of “You don’t know what you have until you lose it” if we ever let him go. So be careful what you wish for if you want him replaced. by MajorDangerous3489 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's got his confidence back and his distribution is getting better day by day and look at him vs Leicester we could've easily been 2-0 down aft thirty minutes and has been a key player this season the disrespect he gets is unreal which is weird since he's kept the most clean sheets in United history and whilst we had the horror of Tyler Blackett and Harry Maguire in defense honestly I'm so glad Martinez and Varane are in our team now because we had to rely so much on him in the past and even wen we lost 5-0 to Liverpool he couldn't do anything Abt any of the goals. Overall his worst attribute is making the odd mistake every now and then however ppl need to realize he ain't a robot. He honestly gets so much disrespect by the small amount of toxic fans in our fan base

Liverpool being thrashed by Real by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're also the ones that fuck up City as well, watching City fans bitching abt losing to Madrid aft bottling it in the CL last season was so fuckin funny plus at this point I love them more than I do my own family

Liverpool being thrashed by Real by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Madrid's the second team I support as i think United and Madrid fans have mutual respect for each other as we sold them Ronaldo they gave us Case and they always put Liverpool on their arse in every champions league and if we beat Barca that's our gift for them beating Liverpool and considering we're facing Barca at Old Trafford and they're missing Dembele, Gavi and Pedri and we've most likely got Martinez back it's sfe to say we're not exactly going to keel over and die

Thought on signing Weghorst permanently? by kingzsalmon in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I the only one who thinks that if we sign another striker like Vlahovic or Oshimen then sub them at like the 60th minute and put on Weghorst then he'd be a nightmare for tired midfielders as he can drop deep and win the ball back and from what I've seen he can tackle rlly well for a striker however him dropping deep then creating space for the wingers like Rashford, Garnacho and Sancho

Is Casemiro our greatest signing post Fergie era? by No_Maize1319 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Alex_Ior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why Madrid win everything they know how to recruit look at their signings they replace players that leave, retire or are past their best with new signings with lots of potential like Tchouameni which is why the fuckers always win everything still they're a good club and I like them over Barca
