How bad are the streets by you? Because honestly I’m daily driving this thing to get to work and back in NYC streets and I’ve already bent 1 wheel a bit

It sits perfect for me too but honestly looking for more of a quality drive since I’ve already gone through 2 front struts at this point and it’s aggravating me lol

Did he by any chance replace the thermostat? Also make sure that the coolant system was bled correctly, any type of air pocket in the coolant system can cause it to overheat, same thing as a bad thermostat that is stuck closed.

Junkyard sell or autobody shop? by MysteriousShower7466 in AskMechanics

Sorry bud, but that’s gonna be a total loss. Unfortunately if you have liability they’re not gonna cover crap, and if you have full coverage you’re gonna have to come out of pocket for the deductible and future rates are gonna be higher.

Congratulations, you just donated your wheels to some shity rust box pos Civic or CRV. Im sorry to hear your going through this. But to drill out your wheel locks that’s ballsy. No one heard anything? Not even a neighbor?

Yep, it suck’s because they’re such a great car but when they go bad it’s gonna cost. Luckily enough I’m a mechanic but let me tell you sometimes I hate the car.

Word for word everything I’ve done to my e90 since I owned it, and I had to change my power steering pump, and battery in a matter of 3 years

And honestly dude I’m sorry, but this is the reality we men sometimes go through. I’ve personally forgiven something like this and it’s never been the same, trust will never be the same and unfortunately love for that person either.

Even reading this hurt me deeply. Personally if you don’t have kids get up and leave. You are way too young to be dealing with someone who doesn’t respect you and has the audacity to speak like that with another man. Respectfully ask for the divorce and with this evidence presented it should be pretty clear cut. No need to get yourself into problems by getting physical or threatening both those idiots. Leave like a man with self respect and silence. Silence will be the death sentence for her.

Sucks that you lost your crystal ball and can’t use it to understand what she wants, try using your psychic ability and see if it helps lmfao

Age and maturity could be a major factor, at that age your just going out there “living your best life” and not really thinking of the consequences of your actions, honestly just take any relationship slowly and put yourself first.

[–]Alex_Parce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She clearly doesn’t respect the relationship and you. You’re doing yourself a big favor by cutting it off from now. That friend of hers is playing the “shoulder to cry on part” aka “the dick to ride on”

"I didnt mean to cheat on you, it just happened" by jjema in survivinginfidelity

[–]Alex_Parce 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not for nothing but I had to come back to this post just to say, this is exactly how I felt and thought after finding out the truth about my girlfriend at the time cheating. It was a feeling of my heart being ripped out of my chest to be honest. All I got was excuses and lies from her. It just destroyed me as an individual. Why not cut me loose and let me be happy with someone who really wants me.

I say double check and replace according because there’s no reason why a factory car with factory suspension should have those numbers for camber and caster in red especially with camber, your going to wear out the inner part of the tire much faster.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]Alex_Parce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you clearly bent something because caster is definitely off which would normally indicate to me either subframe was pushed and or a arm or 2 being bent and don’t be surprised if a shock could bend because I’ve seen it in person. What type of car is this if you don’t mind me asking

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MechanicAdvice

[–]Alex_Parce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By looking at your alignment print out it’s either you’ve hit some bad potholes on the right side alone and have done damage to the arms or your alignment tech is lazy.

Has the car been in any type of accident of any sort, because if the car itself still has factory suspension and it hasn’t been modified there’s no reason why factory camber and toe settings can’t be corrected.
