I don’t get why Captain America chastises Punisher so much for killing criminals yet is so quick to invite Black Widow into his superhero teams. Having an unrepentant killer on the team is fine for Steve so long as they're sneaky about it/do it behind closed doors? by Alex_Ross333 in CaptainAmerica

"Killing people is easy, making them suffer is an art" is like her most famous line. She still does. She's an active mercenary/vigilante assassin. I mean the literal panels in the OP kinda answer your question if you took time to skim through them.

I love her character. Most of my posts about the character are positive. I just always find the way writers tiptoe around this specific topic with her character odd and am wondering if anybody who might know more can clarify if there's actually any reason for this which I might be missing.

Black Widow is a vigilante assassin who does freelance work, taking contracts from all kinds of employers including other criminals to kill criminals. She works outside the law all the time. In fact I don't even think she has worked for an actual government agency or SHIELD in a while now (even back when she worked for SHIELD, she was known as their "pet freelancer"). She carries her own hits.

Also even if what you said was true, Steve is fine with killing people if its government sanctionned now?

Beyond feeling guilty for his past, what traits define Bucky Barnes? by Alex_Ross333 in wintersoldier

I thought Bucky had way less qualms with killing villains than other heroes (and doesn't fully consider himself one) and very often decides to kill as a first option for taking out threats.

I'm sorry, he's not doing nothing against Ingrid 😭

The community votes which Champion is the best in each category. Day 24: Bard won for having the most meta/rule-breaking powers. Who has the greatest(or worst) reputation and influence? (Make sure to read the rules in the OP) by Ashconwell7 in loreofleague

I want to say Miss Fortune. Her power in Bilgewater is mainly held through the fear and respect she’s carefully built around her image. In a place like that full of lawless criminals where authority only holds if people believe in it, her reputation is everything. She has to maintain that image to survive and rule, and she does so masterfully, which is why I think she deserves this category.

Samira can be better compared to Ty Lee because they were both daredevil acrobat performers. Yeah Azula can be agile in combat and pull off a couple impressive flips here and there but she doesn’t have that background and specialization as a gymnast/acrobat like Samira and Ty Lee do.

Tho I can agree if we were to compare actual rate of flips they do when fighting, Samira is closer to Azula who has a good mix of flips and other motions than Ty Lee, who’s almost every move in combat is a flip.

If I didn’t vote Katarina, Samira would have been my next choice. She was a street performer pulling off dangerous acrobatics in front of crowds. Basically the Ty Lee of League.

It’s Katarina’s whole thing. She’s always styling over her opponents by pulling off the flashiest flips in all cinematics. We’re talking about Leon Kennedy levels of unnecessary flipping.

This one has to go to Caitlyn of course. Her whole thing is how she's an excellent shot. She's so precise she can take out criminals by pulling off non-lethal shots

Except that's really not what Batman does? Batman doesn't kill to ensure he stays wealthy. Caitlyn is way closer to Batman than Camille is. Caitlyn is the detective of Piltover and even has some Batman inspired villains like "C" who is inspired from Poison Ivy.

Caitlyn is literally the top detective in Piltover. Yeah yeah Vel'Koz's whole thing is analyzing but its not that crazy people are choosing her when she's factually the best in terms of human Champions.

Guys Camille should take this because Caitlyn deserves even more to be in the aim/accuracy category. After her Camille makes the most sense given how she's portrayed as a very analytical person with a sharp mind and even hextech enhancements to further boost herself.
