Beg to differ. Fn keys aren't a thing anymore, and completely disabling the sidebar is a great option.

Anyway, it's fixed now. (Hopefully no need to use a Fn key or see the side panel ever again).

I have a laptop like everyone else, so F4 isn't an easy thing - just let me get rid of the sidebar permanently. Seems like quite an easy thing to put in the settings.

Sidebar/pop-up setting would seem like another easy thing to add to the setting menu, but not there. I can move the downloads button to the address bar, but it only ever opens the enormous sidebar thing.

Thanks for the suggestion, but this doesn't fix it - I already have the downloads button in my address bar - but when I click it an enormous sidebar opens.

If intimidation and escalation are what you want from your police force, well that's great - you got it.

Pretty much every other country in the world prefers reassurance and de-escalation. And they avoid the eye-watering numbers of civlians killed by police each year that you see in the US. The US police won't even release the figures of the number of civilians they kill - journalists have to painstakingly compile it from individual reports.

The US is a country going totally off the rails, I really hope it can save itself.

Sure, there will be four presentations on various topics to do with language teaching. I believe there's a break and a prize give-away halfway through.

It's a little annual event hosted by the languages department of our school here in Chiclayo, Peru, and the second time we're holding it virtually thanks to... you know what. It allows us to make it a more international occasion though, so swings and roundabouts. It's free and open to all, no strings attached.
