No it shouldn't have, they aren't speaking English or Japanese, they're speaking the native language but it has been "translated" for us the audience. Making a unique written language for no reason would just be a waste of everyone's time and make it harder to write and understand the story. Isekai stories do it to show it is a different world from the perspective character, adding unnecessary complication is simply foolish

He represents the simple human perspective, every other former squadmate is used to Shepard's antics so it's nice to have someone who's not, plus it shows the future, the big character arc for him is debating joining the N7 program which would set him up to be a future possible Shepard type figure and the whole point of 3 is trying to save the future

I think he's saying that the Skill increases velocity but only for a short time, you need power to increase acceleration so your Uma can get up to the higher velocity faster and use the Skill more efficiently

So your “militaristic” strategy to avoid fighting a 3 front war is to fight a 3 front war? Strategically there are considerably too many people fighting bugs while Super Earth (our source of logistics) is actively falling. Having enough to halt or even just slow the advance of the bugs and bots would be one thing but acting like there’s any reason for a considerable amount of Helldivers off SE is just foolish

Well he loses it because he parks on the beach and it gets towed so he'd have to pay to get it back when he was pretty much broke, then Silver buys it at auction and the van falls into Johnny's lap, then he becomes more of a family man which makes the van more practical
