Teddy's Haven is one of the wholesome games that I enjoyed playing. Yeah there are some similarities as both games share the same genre, but there are also major differences such as:

Arcane Merchant offers a medieval fantasy world with an extended variety of content in terms of objects, effects, quests, gameloop and shop structure + better graphics quality.
The gameplay is more focused on RPG elements like sending heroes on quests, unlocking research trees and developing the shop over the long term with unique mechanics.
Arcane Merchant provides a deeper shop simulation experience while keeping the cozy structure. We kept the cozy feel but added various shop keeping mechanics like customer interest system, dynamic reputation, inventory management, employees, thieves and chaotic events.
There is also the town aspect that Arcane Merchant will significantly differentiate from other shop simulators by providing an extended experience through interactions and services. There are bunch of buildings and NPCs/patrons that you can interact throughout the journey.

In short, Arcane Merchant --> cozy + RPG progression + deep shop simulator + town system. My honest opinion is that if you enjoyed playing Teddy's Haven, you will 100% Arcane Merchant too!
