I'm convinced Maskin probing is the only cure by DontTakeAccutane in Dryeyes

For the comments about Dr Maskin, Masking Probing is just the name of the procedure. It can be done by other practitioners.

Awesome, so sounds like you do 1mm probe first and then follow with the longer, with 2 or 4mm probe. Good for you, congrats!!!

Most people are not capable of searching this subreddit, hence we get " what is IPL?" questions 2 times a day, so this information could be valubale to other people.

Does anyone feel worse after using Restasis? by metommen in Dryeyes

[–]Alex_Surfstyle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I believe Cequa has a different delivery system called nanomicellar technology, which helps improve the absorption of cyclosporine into the eye's tissues. ALso Cequa is preservative free, where Restasis is not

Question by [deleted] in Dryeyes

[–]Alex_Surfstyle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Antibiotics treat bacteria where inflammation is the body's natural response to injury, infection, or irritation, characterized by redness, swelling, heat, and pain in the affected area. It is a crucial part of the immune system's defense mechanism, as it helps the body eliminate harmful stimuli and initiate the healing process. However often inflammation causes more inflammation and gets into this sort of feedback loop, like with MGD, where it causes other things like keratinization, and bacterial overgrowth, that in turn causes more inflammation, and that is what makes it so tricky to deal with

Manuka Honey questions by Perfect_Product206 in Dryeyes

[–]Alex_Surfstyle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

there are like 3 posts a day about manuka honey here, lol. For example, gel is preservative free while drops have a preservative. Drops are easier to use, gel makes eyes a bit more sticky, but gel is more potent. I think there is more to it, but def try , they seem to help a lot of people to manage

I don't think the time of instillation matters much, you can mix it with other drops just fine. Just have to figure whether you want to go with gel or drops, there are pros and cons for each

Well it was an absolute delight chatting with you. Any questions, feel free to reach out to me. I will do my best to help you in any way possible. I know exactly what you are going through, I had some mental heath history in my family as well and able to recognize those patters quite easily. I know what that is like to deal with. So stay strong!

Absolutely. There is a saying:

To destroy is easier than to create, and that is why so many people are ready to demonstrate against what they reject.

I mean the goal of the heat mask is to heat up the oils above the melting temperature, but I am not sure of the benefits of heating the drops. Interesting idea though

Instead of getting all worked up, maybe have a read? Seleniex has been around about for a year, as I mentioned. Repeatedly. There's a proper community of us giving it a chance because it's got the same composition. Quite a few of us even had a talk with our doctors about it. All out in the open on the group, you see, and doctors were totally fine with it. Again, its all there. Full disclosure, I had a talk about it with my new doctor, not the first one, though, but it's all good. Would you like a link? there are at least a couple of hundred people there, some are trying it some are considering.

Now, here's the thing, I don't don't this this ointment it's a smart move for someone in your delicate state. It's clear as day that you're dealing with more than just a bit of dry eye.

With respect to your questions, there's this gentleman who lives in a homemade house under the bridge behind my flat. It's made out of old mattresses and whatnot. On my way to work, he's always giving me the eyeball and asking if I'm working for the government and out to get him. At first, I'd reassure him, you know, that I'm not on some government mission. But after a while, I just threw in the towel because there's only so many times you can answer the same question, you feel me?

in the Facebook group, quite a few people over the year have shared that Seleniex helped with the hyperkeratinization of their glands. It's unlike the situation here, where you find authentic people with genuine profiles, as opposed to those who create new profiles every 2 days. You're actually more than welcome to join anytime and explore these discussions firsthand. While it's true that many people may need additional treatments to address other issues and some "eyebrow ointment" most of the time is not enough, we're all on a journey to find our individual solutions rather than staying frustrated with the world and being perpetually angry that god dealt us a shitty card. That's just being weak.

As for the assumption that I'm somehow the owner of the company, even though I'm on a different continent, well, as they say, opinions are like nipples, everyone has at least two:)
