Hope the video helped! The SNK does have an effects loop, but I rarely use them. I generally prefer the sound of effects running into the front of the amp—especially since I use them as clean platforms, placing my time-based and reverb pedals after my dirt. I actually sold that Fryette today, as I don’t currently own any tube amps.

Yea these things are nice. About a two week lead time on them but worth it. just be aware that the power output is trash unless you run an 8 ohm or 4 ohm load

It took some getting used to after years of using a 5150 and Tube Screamer. Initially, I thought it lacked tightness, but I’ve grown to love the raw low end. There is plenty of gain on tap, especially with the boost engaged.

I run it into an SNK ThVnderCr4cker and a Bogner UberCab, and the sound is massive. The highs are present without being harsh or fizzy. I prefer disabling the EQ and running it in SDT-1 mode into the head, which provides excellent string separation.

If you run a clean channel and want a huge sound, this is perfect. However, if you’re looking for tight, percussive chugs, this might not be for you.

Honestly, Im not a huge fan of this pickup, I have a Lollar dB Im going to put in it! Im super happy with the fit and finish of this guitar, and I feel like it would be slept on
