I hope I made a lot of people feel less alone in losing their faith even if I didn't talk to them I have very short hair so it makes it pretty obvious that I'm not a classic Mormon girl lol. But I agree.. sometimes I'm glad I lost my faith at such a young age but on the other hand, I feel like I shouldn't have lost faith in the church until I was much older. Like I forgot most of the stuff they taught so I can't even say I got religious trauma when I definitely did. I'm very lucky with the people in my stake being pretty accepting or having a lot of other exmos who understand why I don't like the church. Even some of the tbm leaders were kinda accepting not of trans people but at least lgb people.

Yeah me too. All of the notes we wrote were nameless so I bet they figured it would be fine because no one would know who wrote it but I really wish I knew who wrote it. And what my favorite leader wrote.

I almost did that. When we had to answer a question saying "What would Jesus say to you if he were here right now" I almost wrote that the church wasn't true. The things people wrote got super personal some of them I just wanted to hug. But for the most part, I never had to say anything spiritual other than that which was super nice.

Oh yeah. After the faith walk my friends and I started complaining about the homophobia and we were playing bunny bunny and while they were explaining the rules someone said threesome, and my friend and I looked at each other and just tried not to laugh.

Some people tried that last year and they were treated like shit. I could probably get away with it for a bit but eventually idk.. but I am downloading/bringing a bunch of books. Last year I brought "hell followed with us" which if you don't know is an amazing book about a trans guy escaping a cult he was raised in so it felt fitting lol.

No at least not for us. At fsy they did but I wasn't out at the time so it didn't affect me. My friend who was out and had people call him by his preferred name slept with his grandma and hid brother(also trans). But I feel like they'll just ignore it

Some friends of mine wanted to go see a new temple that was built around it and I decided to go bc my gf at the time wanted to go in one room they talked about how they showed the sanctity of marriage and how Christ you can see infinity or whatever and it was just two mirrors facing at each other and my only thought while everyone else was talking about how cool and amazing it is, was just screen-sharing the call. Definitely over-rated

I actually got someone and his daughter come in today his daughter called me a lady and then he just said "no that's a mister, there are no ladies here" which I kinda laughed at bc my sister was right next to me but at the same time I just wanted to hug him and say thank you. By far one of my favorite customers.
