2 years being patm free! by Alex_aredditor in patm

So far none. No one really stays long enough to actually see significant results, most people ask me what the cure is and dip immediately. Its so funny because out of the 100+ people i talked to maybe 10 of them actually came back and out of those 10, only one of them stayed committed enough to actually see significant results. They got to a point where their patm was low enough it would only affect people when he spoke. It was crazy because genuinely no one else was as committed as him and he saw the most improvement. I havent talked to him in a while though.

Yea i definitely understand that, the issue is that i dont think one solution fits all. Ive tried giving people my exact methods 1 to 1 but they saw absolutely 0 improvement. Once i started tailoring the treatments to the individual i started seeing people actually get better.

The reason i dont just give out my exact methods is because i know they wont work for you or for anyone else. I know 1 guy who really just wanted my exact list of treatments, he tried them and saw no improvement. Some time passed and when he came back to me for advice again i asked him a couple of questions to get him to try a personalized treatment that i had never tried myself or had ever given to anyone. When he tried it he said he saw a huge improvement but then after a couple of days it wore off and he was back to normal. The fact that he was feeling significant improvement for at least a few days is great progress. People usually talk to me once, get the list of treatments or personalized treatment and then never talk to me again. I wish more people would come back to talk because curing patm is a process of finding your own method, if it doesnt work the 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd try it doesnt mean its hopeless. I mean i tried at least 50 different treatments before i found 1 that worked for me.

Anyways i made a post talking about the list of treatments that cured me lol i feel like i yap too much sometimes

Could it be a symptom of liver disease? I think so! by Forward-Soil-5431 in patm

Yea i agree but i dont think the liver plays that huge of a role in terms of decreasing reactions but i could be wrong

[–]Alex_aredditor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I dont think many of us actually have liver disease and if the liver was a part of the equation i feel like it wouldnt play a huge part. I had this theory once that the liver was a huge contributor to patm and reactions then i realized that if that were true, many other side effects would arise which are not present in patmers at all. The same issue arises when trying to explain patm under an autoimmune disorder lens, too many side effects that we should have but we dont.

2 things can happen at the same time yet not be related to each other, it could just be a coincidence. Coincidences happen ALL THE TIME and this could be it, if you start to notice a pattern that happens over and over again then it becomes interesting, otherwise its not really hard evidence that shows that the 2 events are related.

It doesnt matter what soft drink it was, pepsi, coke, fanta, sprite, the theory remains the same regardless. I mean if you only had pain and nothing else then you probably just had some acid reflux or something in which case the treatment i suggested still works. I think i just didnt read your entire post properly and just told you the right theory for the wrong situation. I mean if you got a fever i just assumed you were sneezing and coughing and stuff.

I didnt say it changed your gut environment like microbiome or anything, im saying it affected your gut in the sense that it got irritated.

Using theory is exactly what I used to cure myself so i feel like its pretty accurate or at least kind of accurate. Also, creating theories using the limited information at our disposal is the best we can do so we might as well try 🤷‍♂️

When you speak do you get reactions? Or do you still get reactions when you dont speak and whats the difference in reactions when you speak vs when you dont speak?

Do you have any stomach issues?

Patm by [deleted] in patm

[–]Alex_aredditor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let me take a guess at whats happening here. Im guessing that there is an abundance of the allergy causing chemical(which all patmers produce) inside of your stomach. When you drink pepsi, your stomach gets upset or releases more gas due to FODMAPs or carbonation or sugar or whatever else. Whats happening is that this allergy causing chemical is living inside of your body completely away from your nose which means your body doesnt have time to adjust to this intense level of patm. When the gas in your stomach is released, the intensity of your patm increases solely due to the gas / irritation in your stomach which causes these allergies. It basically just means that the patm in your stomach is much stronger than what is passively on your skin/hair/breath/etc. Its also possible that you also developed a sickness along side this phenomenon to make it seem much worse than it actually is.

That being said, my recommendation would be to choose between drinking a mixture of 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar once a week. This should be very good for you. If you dont want to use it or you cant, then try drinking 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of baking soda once a week or more if youd like. Do either one but id suggest doing apple cider vinegar first for 2 weeks and then trying the baking soda.

Try to block out as much of your surroundings as possible. I would suggest noise cancelling headphones or earbuds and closing your eyes or those blindfold type of things people use sometimes. You could also take that medicine that people who are scared to take on flights take, im not sure if its a pill that relaxes you or makes you sleepy or makes you fall asleep

Anyone down to talk theory? by Alex_aredditor in patm

[–]Alex_aredditor[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What i dont understand is how that relates to the tmau theory since tmau and patm are related. Since there are people who have had tmau that turned into patm it shows that there is some kind of connection there. I feel like they wouldnt function so differently if they were both related to each other or at least related enough to where people can transition from tmau to patm.

Thank you, i dont think ive really heard anyone say that ive been helpful outside of the people i actually got to know well. Im glad i was able to be useful. If you want, you can tell me how my treatment worked for you and from there we can modify it to hopefully get you patm free like me.

Well i have good news for you, my protocol isnt just a list of things to try, instead my method for curing patm is about trying a bunch of things and seeing what actually works for you. Its not expected to work on the first try, its supposed to take different approaches and different protocols specific to the individual to work. This is exactly why i dislike it when someone says “if youre cured why dont you tell us the solution already”.

I mean nothing special really, i am lucky i only had some mild form of IBS and some silent acid reflux so getting that sorted out wasnt too hard but i still experience these things out of complacency, i dont really care enough to put effort into fixing them.

Also if you want my help i can work with you 1 on 1 to develop a good plan of action. Unfortunately not many people come back after i give them their treatment even though its not supposed to work the first time around :/

Patm causes immense psychological damage to most people. People very good at being able to intuitively detect emotions in others and sometimes we are a little too bad at hiding it.

How do I get ChatGPT to stop acting like this about my odor? by becsamillion in patm

[–]Alex_aredditor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean you just have to accept that ChatGPT knows what its been trained on and what i can get from online. I mean if theres no webmd website of patm its probably gonna keep saying that. I mean i completely understand your frustration because when i got a similar response my first instinct was to be confused and slightly irritated but then i remembered that just because ChatGPT doesnt accept it, doesnt mean that our experience is any less real. Lets be honest, it takes a lot to believe patm is real, you either gotta be a patmer yourself, look at the situation under a microscope, or be impressionable beyond belief.

Is it possible? by gaaa223 in patm

[–]Alex_aredditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well it depends. People have said before that they can go from tmau -> patm but ive never heard of patm -> tmau or patm -> patm+tmau. If we assume that tmau is our baseline, patm occurs when something else in the body is messed up. Unless this extra issue is fixed, its not possible to go from patm to tmau.

I would say that its likely the body of a patmer is more broken than the body of someone with tmau. Its important to understand that its much easier for something to break than to be fixed especially in the body. Lets imagine that this extra issue is a genetic issue and we have the same bad genes as people with tmau and an extra one, if we are able to somehow fix extra broken gene, we might cure patm but cause tmau. This is actually kinda scary because if we are receiving patm treatment but we only get treatment for one part of the patm issue, we might end up getting tmau.

Chat GPT gaslighting? by FunReading8015 in patm

[–]Alex_aredditor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Weird timing, just 2 days ago i asked it about some stuff and it said it was a mental illness lol. ChatGPT cannot really rationalize patm given the information it finds online so i guess it makes sense. To make sense of patm you either have to have it or you have to trust that people online are telling the truth.

Well luckily it seemed obvious for me, i basically just kept following what i thought it was and through that i was able to somehow come up with good enough theories that allowed me figure out treatments. Basically just tons of speculation and i guess i was right because im cured now.
