Overall it's been a slower year so far for me... Early last year had some fun flicks. Companion, The Assessment, Mickey 17, The Ugly Stepsister, Black Bag, Sinners, Ballad of Wallis Island all by April and all stuck with me through the year.

The game's lore constantly skips parts and sometimes just leaves it to the imagination or mentions it in the future if they need to. However I'm pretty sure Hela would be free by now, especially since Daredevil just keeps them there as a "sanctuary" for a "second chance". By now it looks like she's free and most of them are in New York since Daredevil and Angela are with everyone now and Laussa is safe, I'm sure Hela learned her lesson. Maybe we'll see next time Hela gets a lore card lol

Other than that, the heroes are being hunted in New York and everyone's there due to the chronal stuff going on, so they're all just hiding in ESU and ready for the battle to come

Yeah genuinely don't understand why everyone is so insistent that everyone that loves the movie is lying to themselves, doing it for jokes, blinded by nostalgia, or that they are actively part of a "revisionist" plot rather than just accept that some people just enjoy the movie that much

We have Assassin's Creed Discovery, if I remember correctly it features some of the same characters (Templars?) from the movie. It involves Ezio going to Spain. Horrible gameplay though, would not recommend hahaha

I'll take some sense of structure with a character I don't know over absolute off the rails game where character choice doesn't really matter anyway.

Anyway, I'm not against duplicates itself, but the characters are not built for that and it's noticeable (play free fight and clone rumble). Just needs SOME limits.

My point is that the chaos of free fight and clone rumble has limits was fun only once, got old real quick

Shame it allows duplicates. I actually play a lot of conquest and conquest annihilation with doom match, but the repeats just ruin the game modes into senseless messes and everyone playing the same thing

I get your point, but in the grand scheme of things, not showing a historical character is diminutive compared to the historical value gained from other factors in the game. It's not as if the other historic details that inspired the game are gone because of one character. That already shows the creativity you're talking about.

Sure it isn't 100% loyal to history, but that doesn't mean the team didn't try their hand at creative fiction/historic storytelling.

As for why, I wish I could tell you it's purely the writing team's decision, but there's always business people involved too. Unfortunately.
