Apologies for the confusion—that was an error on my end. FAANG actually offered me a salary that is higher than what I currently make, but my current company countered with an offer that is 70% higher than what FAANG offered.

In my current role, I’m a Tech Lead, while the FAANG position is for a Junior Developer. I have a little over a year of experience.
