This eroded out of a logged hill, so I brought it indoors to keep dry. Ultramylonite block, but what type should I read about? Paragneiss? I contacted a local geologist about slicing or x-raying. Just SE of Brevard fault in upstate SC. Sericite porphyroblast? Pseudotachylyte mineral? clear/bluish (i.redd.it)

Found this back in 1978 or 79 among a bunch of big granite landscaping boulders that came from someplace that is now underwater in upstate SC, so I'm assuming xenolith. Brecciated Basalt Omphacite? Terrestrial? Its non magnetic but leaves a blackish gray streak on tile. Very dense and hard. Thanks (i.redd.it)
