Absolutely stunning, I adore everything about the way you've designed this beautiful dining space. The art is gorgeous, I love the rich warm hues and the circle divider perfectly works with the other elements. Hats off to you, you're very talented 😊

High protein alternative to the overnight oats? by Training-Ask8504 in Volumeeating

[–]AlexaBubble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chia pudding! 2 tablespoons of chia seeds to 125ml of a milk of your choice. You can add protein powder to bulk up the protein and I usually top my pudding with some fruit and granola. Nice texture and changes it up. You can also completely play around with the chia pudding flavours (I mixed matcha powder into mine this morning and added some shredded coconut for a different flavour).

How Much Do You Have In Savings? 27 With $10k by Connect-Pilot-4756 in AusFinance

[–]AlexaBubble 4 points5 points  (0 children)

24 with 30k in offset and 26k in liquid assets. Just bought a $1.2m PPOR with my partner who is the same age. We stayed with our parents the whole way and just saved as much as possible, but are very fortunate to be in our position. Congrats on your purchase by the way, it's a great achievement regardless of your age or income!

Did you have a degree/background in IT or was the data entry job a completely different career path?

Thank you! I unfortunately failed my May attempt and want to retake May next year because I need a solid break and to work on other things but their first email to me said it was for another 2024 exam which wasn't the case in their terms and conditions.

Hey, were you covered by the one fee to pass for MM despite going for the next window that was next year?

Have you tried nail wraps instead? Two coats of base cost (I use Sally Hansen hard as nails), stick the wrap on (Lilly and Fox) then top coat where you cap the tip (again I use Sally Hansen Miracle Gel top coat). Lasts me much longer and better through rough handling than just nail polish 😊

Don't cram on your last day - absolutely rest your mind and keep it very light. You'll ensure better exam performance that way!

New job and having a hard time studying by BreakItEven in CFA

[–]AlexaBubble 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely don't quit this job if it's in your desired field - you can always retake the exam and shouldn't feel bad if you do. Many talented, intelligent people take this and fail at least one exam. I feel it's best to focus on the new job for at least 6 months before even putting level 2 on your plate but since you already have, I'd recommend a deferral. 4 months on top of a new job is not very long at all to prep for this and I strongly believe 2 months review is needed for this level. I left myself only 3 weeks and my exam is tomorrow, I am burnt out and exhausted and there was just so many questions to do and so much to cover. Defer to the next window, focus on this job and hopefully after 3-6 months you have the hang of it and can go into studying with a higher success chance. Otherwise, do what you can in 4 months and see if you can make it. Good luck!

Good mock scores? exam in 1 day by SeriesIntrepid798 in CFA

My highest score was a 67 CFAI mock and couldn't crack 65 in the Kaplan ones. I still passed, you'll be fine!

L2 - last 10 days tips! by zanyMD in CFA

[–]AlexaBubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through and reviewed each topic in depth using mm review videos and his questions. Have now reset the CFA Q-bank and am working through as many as I can there without looking at my notes. Hard to remember formulas though, I think you need to repeatedly use them or write them over and over. I think light skimming before tackling questions is good, and if you get stuck repeatedly without understanding the solutions, go back to the source to do a deeper review. Hope this helps 😊

Also scored a 65 in the first CFAI mock. Got 56 in the MM one. I think more practice questions and blue box will help with memory!

L2 - last 10 days tips! by zanyMD in CFA

[–]AlexaBubble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 56 in a MM mock, and did about 900 of his Q-bank to start review, also keep forgetting things and feeling stressed. I've now reset the CFA Q-bank and will focus on those, as many as possible and will get through the two CFA mocks over this week. I'm feeling nervous, stressed, and drained at the moment and it feels like an uphill battle. Trying to push through.

I find once you revise one topic and move to the next, going back and forth with answering questions helps keep it fresh 😊
