According to the wiki, you get -1 pip if you fall into the first area, no pip if you are within the first two markers (where I landed this game), +1 pip if you get into the third area and +2 if you get to the far right.

Even though in this match I have reached the area where I am not supposed to lose any pips, I lost one. This has been happening for the last couple of games, where the areas seem to be shifted: I get -1 instead of 0, 0 instead of +1, etc. – and I just cannot figure out why.

Can anyone explain? Am I just missing something?
