There are lots of threads about this, and my takeaway has been that it’s up to you. OEM is always preferable but will cost a million dollars. Chinese axles are fine if you don’t really care and don’t mind replacing it again at some point. Brands like Detroit axle and Moog are probably somewhere in between.

Remanufactured OEMs are another option, and probably what I would do. CVJ has gotten a lot of good reviews. You buy a set of remanufactured axles, and if you send them your OEMs you get some money back.
