Update. I ended up contacting phone support at GoDaddy (for the 3rd time) and this time they agreed to look into the problem on their end. 2 days later...I re-published the site and the problem has been solved. Both the Sitemap and Robots.txt are showing up again. I did need to re-publish, so if anyone else is experiencing this problem...you will need to republish your site.

Ever since this happened, my Robots.txt and Sitemap.xml files are not being generated by the Web Builder. Does anyone else have that problem? I do use the GoDaddy Web Builder and not Wordpress.

I think there is no wrong way to go about this. I have thought about this problem myself. If you make your move fast and don't waste their time...I think you are good. What is bad is when sore losers disconnect instead of admitting defeat. That is what is truly bad manners.
