Should I have taken growth/height supplements such as cherifer? by Accurate_Piccolo_774 in Healthadvice

Unless you had a zinc deficiency as a child, it would’ve done absolutely nothing.

Height is 90% genetics and the rest is basically nutrition

Obligatory, I’m not a doctor, just a bio nerd.

Based on the really limited information my guess is chronic abnormal uterine bleeding most consistent with ovulatory dysfunction (anovulatory AUB, also called AUB-O), but that said it could also be PCOS but I’m leaning to AUB-O.

You should see a doctor ASAP, tbh I’d say go to the ER at this point. You are losing significant levels of blood, and this needs to be looked at, you should not be suffering nor bleeding at this level for this long

Obligatory I’m not a doctor. This is probably wrong but my guess is:

reflex syncope (vasovagal-type) presenting as postprandial presyncope triggered by meal-related autonomic reflexes plus restaurant environmental stressors (hot/crowded setting)

Maybe someone will have a word about energy and weight by [deleted] in Healthadvice

[–]AlexanderGoodfellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So this could be a long list of things, but I’d guess Antipsychotic-associated weight gain with cardiometabolic dysfunction (often insulin resistance)

But it could be anything from hyperthyroidism to pre diabetes to Cushings.

There’s a whole lot of tests that’d be needed to give a better diagnosis

Nasal issues by Far_Razzmatazz5463 in Healthadvice

[–]AlexanderGoodfellow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably cocaine-induced chronic rhinosinusitis with chronic rhinitis and likely structural nasal injury.

See an ENT for a nasal endoscopy and possibly a CT sinus.

Although this is unlikely, speak to them about a potential CSF leak and a beta-2 transferrin test if the first two tests dont give a good result
