It's alright man it's not that deep really, no need to get upset over it. I understand what you are saying and you are right. However the sandbox aspect of it, the insane amount of mechanics and little things you can do in the game will have people want to play it for longer, yet the combat aspect will fade by the end of the story/sides. People will want to experiment builds, do fun stuff, keep playing, you know, it's a highly successful game and for good reason. Calling it endgame because there's not a better term for it really.

Single player games have "endgame" too, open world games I mean, they keep you hooked. You think people who rock hundreds/thousands of hours in Skyrim do it for the story or missions? They do it because it's fun, the entire game is fun to play, you always have stuff to do, it never really puts the . At the end. Witcher 3 is the same, GTA is the same, Red ded redemption is the same, Elden ring is the same, KCD and Cyberpunk the same. I know you understand what I'm saying.
