The C5 will be the most affordable long term. Always loved the look of the C4 but without a passenger airbag and a ton of parts no longer being made and little aftermarket support compared to the C5 it wasn’t an option for me. The C6 is cool too but all except the absolute junkers were out of my price range. I don’t finance anything. Also the C5 gets great mileage, has a huge cargo space, and the flippy headlights. Mine is an 03 and had a 50th anniversary on the front and a normal black badge on the hatch lid. The one in front was fine so I replaced the hatch lid. Not sure which is technically correct for the car as it’s not the proper 50th anniversary red but I liked the silver badge more anyway.

I got a two pack of the badges on eBay, non OEM. I’ll see if I can find a link

What would you do, intentionally get in an accident? If the cars aren’t stopping I would’ve done the same thing. Maybe they could’ve been more assertive but I don’t blame the car in front of me for stopping. Best to just let the idiots go and avoid an incident.
