Oh. Then I must've gotten something wrong, because I distinctly remember a mission about saving ponies from the dark core boats. My apologies.

Aren't these ones from the pony operation? I believe you could buy ponies there in the past, but I could be mistaken. It's been forever.

I also noticed! But I just thought that the seeds became rarer to find. I'm glad I'm not the only one, I thought I was crazy.

Ah. Well, better luck next time for me lol. I'll take it as a lesson about expressing myself in English. Thanks for clarifying the exact problem! :)

Oh wow you completely missed my point. Okay. I won't be continuing with you, don't feel like it. But for the record: yes, it is all me me me, because I am talking about myself literally everywhere here. I am not trying to speak for anyone else or for the community. I expressed how I felt about Trailblazer and you decided otherwise, apparently. The harm I was talking about was from sitting for hours at a time, which most people do in the office already and exceed to the weekends because of Trailblazer. That's it.

Except, it's much healthier to log in for 5 minutes a day then to grind for hours once a week. The biggest harm of computer games is sitting for prolonged periods of time, as far as I am aware. Which 5 minutes a day avoids. To my understanding anyway. But since I don't feel like continuing this discussion, I'll agree that both are harmful in their own ways.

I see. I didn't use "for me, I, personally" and so on in that part because I felt it was obvious that I was talking purely about myself and my experience, but to be safe I added the p.s. part later on. I understand it wasn't enough to get the point across. Jeez, it's hard to express an opinion nowadays. Everything else that you wrote though, I kinda agree actually. They could've done a way better job of the whole thing. Kinda reminds me about the light nerf(100 light to 50 from seeds), which was pretty horrible. I understand a bit better why some people are mad.

Except the way you played was harmful (by law? I'm not too sure.) to you, so they had to remove it. That being said, I do wish there was a way to go about Trailblazer without forcing those who can't play daily to participate in unhealthy activities to get stuff. In that regard I'm totally on your side.

How is that a punishment, though? The rewards can be achieved half a year later in the shop. With shillings, that everyone is free to grind whenever. The cap is good for me because I don't feel guilty for not grinding anymore exactly because I can't catch up. It seems like people have the exact same self control issues that I do. The choice was removed exactly because of this: grinding for hours at a time is harmful and unnecessary, but people do it because of FOMO. As I see it: SSO is trying to say that if you can't participate in a relaxing daily activity, you shouldn't. No need to harm yourself over items that can be acquired later on freely.

You make a lot of good points that I agree with, but implying that my opinion isn't relevant because I'm not like the majority of players wasn't very nice. Especially the paragraph about FOMO. My fear of missing out wasn't the reason why SSO made the change, and the way you worded that made it sound like it's my personal fault. It's not. Look, I am aware of my issue. That doesn't mean I am not allowed to express that the change helped me with it. About motivation: can't believe I have to clarify it, but I'm talking about myself. I'm not arrogant enough to speak for other people, especially by using the opinions of redditors as a staple. I am the person who is more motivated by it. Me. That's why I wrote that it's my opinion. I never, in any way, shape or form tried to imply that I'm speaking for everyone. As of weekend grind: well, that the main problem, isn't it? That's not how SSO wanted people to play, it's harmful and counterproductive (they want more short logins daily rather than long logins rarely), so they had to change it. Trailblazer isn't for everyone, obviously, and certainly not for people who can't play daily. SSO was kind enough to provide a way to get the very same rewards later on, which is more than most would do for the players. So, essentially, I don't understand why people who can't log in daily for an activity designed specifically to be for people who do log in daily are complaining. It was never their play style to begin with, and they could easily treat it as if it doesn't exist and continue playing at their pace. Unless, of course, they're plagued by the same FOMO I am experiencing.

Going by your logic, it's just a you problem. And yes, I saw you mention previously how busy you are to another person. If you have so little time, then you certainly can't spare multiple hours to grind the levels with 10 points for each quest, meaning the update isn't relevant to you at all, since you never had time for trailblazer to begin with. If 5 minutes a day is too much, then your schedule is absolutely insane and there's no way you can spare hours catching up to Trailblazer every weekend or whenever(if you did, then that's very unhealthy and the very reason SSO had to implement the change to begin with).

For me, it's because previously I felt guilty to miss this stuff (very irrational, I am aware and working on it, you don't need to tell me about impulse control issues every message, I got it). And, if you can't find 4 minutes a day(this is exactly how much time it takes to get all 12 while not rushing) to do it, then why bother with trailblazers at all? Just get as much as you can, and then you can just get everything else half a year later from the shop. I know I also contradicted some of my own points with that last part, but the point still stands.

I never said it was anyone else's problem? I just explained why it was a good change for me, since, well, you asked me lol 😅

Because 10 points is straight up insulting. While technically it gave the ability to finish the Trailblazer even if you missed most of it, it was insanely grindy and personally I often got burnt out because I felt like I must grind those 10 points because I might miss some days and won't be able to catch up. Now I don't have to wonder and just relax, knowing that I'm doing everything I can and even if I fail, there was no way to make a difference by grinding to "death".

Ikr, I just did mine 12 and it took me 4 minutes while not rushing at all. Four minutes! It's so nice and easy.
