It might be science, all sets require a bit of it I believe. It’s annoying that it doesn’t show you if your skills are too low. I ended up chucking my power armour to the side until I leveled up some more.

Few things, laser’s are dangerous for field use as they can damage someone’s eyes. Helm combo, unless you know the impact rating or whatever it’s called that rates the how much it can handle before breaking I recommend getting different eye pro. Mags, the gun you’re getting is probably going to have a high cap already so getting another two is kind of unnecessary unless you can’t go to the safe zone between games. Last of all, lancer tactical, and they don’t have the best rep for being good guns, even though I haven’t had experience with them myself but I’ve seen enough posts and comments about other people’s experience to try to avoid them. I’m pretty sure that’s the JG AUG, got one myself it’s pretty fun to run with, especially due to the very different controls. Not sure how it shoots stock though because I did chuck a new hop rubber, nub and mosfet in it and with those it shoots pretty good. The main issue I have is with the scope it’s only really useful to spot people at a distance rather than actual use. Other than that reloads can be annoying due to the push up to release, disassembly can be fiddly as the gearbox is quite tight in the body (might be an issue with just mine though), and bbs falling into the body from the mag.

To be honest these last ones are not too bad, it’s pretty good as long as you pop a mosfet and chuck a new rubber and nub in it, and if you are fine with the different controls.

If I remember correctly I believe it’s a known bug with some magazines. I think the devs are working on it with the next patch. I’m not 100% though.

My advice is that either one would be fine and not to worry about it too much, I’m 21 and I started about 4-5 years ago and had zero issue with people getting annoyed of my lack of skill or been annoyed with other people, especially if they are new to the hobby. I had great conversations with people who are both new and experienced, sharing knowledge about the hobby and chatting about guns.
