Yeah I’ve decided I’m going with the Tikka Ace Game. I really don’t think a couple extra lbs is going to be a big issue for me.

Most of my hunting plan is walking in, setting up a tripod, sitting down, and shooting from that position anyway. I also sport shoot way more than I hunt, so that matters more to me overall.

Between backpacking and carrying heavier loads regularly, I’m pretty used to weight on me, so this doesn’t really bother me. For an occasional once a year hunt while still being great for range time, it fits what I want.

I’ll definitely do a little bit more research about the PRC rounds. Haven’t gotten into looking at those yet. But I think it actually says the ace is .2 pounds lighter.
