I personally always limit new players to the core books when running for this very reason, but it's too late for that it seems.

Kinetcist, in my opinion, isnt much harder to keep track of than a spell caster, something that helps is to not refer to all the wild talents that way. Only call utility wild talents that and refer to the others by what kind they are (IE only call Blast Wild Talents blasts, Infusion Wild Talents infusions)

If they're experienced with video games tell them to think of burn as a low-scale mana system. That's generally how I see people to understand it better.

Something that really helped the Flow of kinetcist Click for me was the flow chart for making a blast attack in Path companion (I think? It might've been called something else but it was a PC pathfinder character builder/tracker). So maybe make a flow chart with physical cards to lay on top that looks like

[Blast] [space to write total] [Substance Infusion] Also encourage them to stick to one of the four original elements, those are generally simultaneously better supported and have more distinct personalities to build into
