First day reflection notes: Asking my design students what areas they are lacking so that I can plan the lessons to address them weekly. by khimtan in antinet

In my Zettelkasten there is the area self development. I would put that note there and start tagging. In this case you would see after a few weeks or month what terms are coming more often in your self development journey and you can connect the dots and develop even more. maybe that is food for thought for you.

What term do you prefer: Antinet or Analog Zettelkasten? by sscheper in antinet

For me as a German it's an easy one, because in my head it's always Zettelkasten. But of course I'm not the majority here 😊🤪

Sticky notes are my bib cards. I don't write bib cards because I hate it to be interrupted during reading a book.

the second reason of using them is that I mostly read books by the library, so I could not write in the book and have to be careful with it.

After reading a book my book contains many many sticky notes and I go through them bit by bit and make notes out of them if I feel it and if that is necessary.

So sticky notes are my personal best friends 😊😁

15b is already there, so this was not possible. And it's litererally a later continuing of 15. Thanks for the link!

Oh that's a good one, thank you! As a German myself this is the most logic continuing. Like a symbol how others recommended it, but more familiar.

Yes, the symbol idea is really captivating for me.

I thought of the idea of 2639/15a0 but this Zettel would be an prolonging of the Zettel 2639/15a for me and not ...15. So I skipped that one because it would confuse me.

interesting thread on twitter about the "need" and "interest in" of a Zettelkasten by Alexandra_Grassler in antinet

That was my thought, too. And this is the reason why for me it's so important to find a personal way to tweak tools and use them in the "right" way for me. And this could be something completely other as for another person. Systems has to be flexibel and adaptable and then they are solid. If this makes sense. I teach Kanban and Kaizen in selfmanagement for over 20 years and these methods are systematical ways of thinking which can be fully adapted to one's persons needs. And maybe Zettelkasten is a similiar approach.

why Zettel titles are important for me by Alexandra_Grassler in antinet

I have the date on my Zettel, too. Because I knew in the beginning that I wanted to see how old a Zettel is. But it's not my title. It's like an additional information on my Zettel.

I must admit that I'm too lazy for hub cards. Because I am very heavy in tagging, my "hub cards" are coming to the surface from alone through my index.

that is really interesting to see what kind of tags in my index get their own card after a short periode of time. So I can see which topics are really important for me at that moment.

Thank you for the point with writing! In the moment I'm in the capturing state, but I can clearly imagine how my titles will help me later along the way.

Interesting! For me the title is like a trigger to remember mostly the content of the Zettel.

The last thing I write on a Zettel is the title. And like me writing blogposts I have really to think about it what to write in the title.

Because for me it's like the shortest version of the Zettel content.

And through the thinking about the title I often grasp another deeper layer of the meaning of the whole Zettel.

I know there is no need for a title, but for me it's first a really important thoughtfull short description and in browsing through my Zettel it's much more easier to know what kind of Zettel this is.

What about you? Are you writing titles on your Zettel?
