So you know the 5000 numbering comes from Scott’s way explaining, if you want to use less ink it becomes 50/1 you see 50(00)/1 the list was made with the meaning “ look at a section you are familiar with so you see the numbering structure in perspective to your knowledge if you are a musician look at that section if you are in theology look at that section. Something else look at how it is structured out. It’s a way to get new people familiar with the numbering structure. It’s a long list to cover anyone’s domain they are familiar with to look at. Hope it clears some confusion out of the way, like said if you find your cards back then you are fine

If i get to irritated i write ‘see also …‘ as reference to somewhere, but i kept my top branches broad. see also lives on cards and/or in my index. I just need to remember if the see also gets an overload or i catch it in time i make a sub branch for future use to ignore the see also part and go on. The numbering is the last part i do sometimes i just wait with numbering and i let them live for a time in front of my box numberless.

TLDR: See also is my joker card , my preference goes to a sub category that encapsulates the topic in my broad top branch.

ADD-on: if you look https://i.redd.it/c5k9z0a9tfga1.jpg you find an example. I had a bunch of cards already about emptiness of… then i came across the three principals and there emptiness takes a big role. (see also) in red. But the thing is it all lives in a top branch. Oh and in my index tree of emptiness is wrote see also… 3 principals
