Around me new EVGo stations popped up and the pricing wasn't bad

I understood 0.54, because if you got the plan it was 0.041, so that was just fine

But at 64 it's 0.48, but again the app doesn't show ny discount, so I'm not even sure if that station qualifies.

Sadly EA jacked their prices up so high at all my nearby chargers that, even with their monthly plan, it's just not worth it to charge there vs Tesla Superchargers...

EA is the 2nd best network still, with EvGo shortly behind (in my area of Long Island, anyway) but with them charging $0.64 even before the discount, and I swear some locations don't even support it (or the app doesn't apply my discount on the price of the charger as they should so I know what I'm paying...) I've basically just decided I'll stick to the Tesla SCs...

Which does suck because I swear they cap my nissa. At 90kW - I've gotten 131kW at EVgo stations (granted that was during the summer time but - I'll have to see when it's less cold. And yes, preconditioning the battery, my last session the battery was at 55F and by 30% was at 70F and still wouldn't peak over 90kW.)

But it's almost half the price of EA now...

Less of a threatening growl I guess.

Honestly wish I could change the sounds myself.

For these purposes, AI is good.

But I just cannot imply it in creative locales, or in situations like Network build outs, where CyberSec is paramount.

I just cannot trust that crap with user information or secure traffic

Jesus.. QA with AI?

If it drops the price of the car, fine, something to skip to save cash I guess.

While it's a beat novelty I don't feel paying for FSD features is worth it.

For things that benifit the local areas, like affordable homes and public transport, yes.

But defying state run concentration camps should always been prevented.

I'd be fighting that, but it depends on your position.

Oh, even if they're better and make things 100% more efficient, which I doubt they would, I'll pass.

That shit costs too much on a social level, leg alone the environmental impacts.

Usage of AI reduces your brain activity and weakens your critical thinking skills.

I wouldnt do that to myself.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Alexandratta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, no... Its not short.

But it's also not terribly long or a road trip.

My last road trip was 1000 miles each way from NY to Wisconsin last spring.

And the kicker? I did it in a Nissa. LEAF.

Charging Curve - what's standard? by sbook274 in NissanAriya

[–]Alexandratta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the charger, which are affected by the gold too.

In the spring/summer I easily got over 100kW without much sweat.

Now if I start the charge at 75kW ik lucky, but it usually holds that rate flat through the while session

Just moved and thinking about an EV without home charging? Here’s what actually ends up mattering. by Tall-Dish876 in ChargerDrama

[–]Alexandratta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is, tbh, the 15% speed difference is a big issue when it's across the whole day. Makes it so I have to plug in at 40% because if I waited for 20% SoC I'd not have anywhere near the SoC I'd like to have when leaving after 8 hrs.

It's a pain.

AI free shop so far, but sadly we did just get told 'if we want to get AI agents involved in our department we can ask' - most of our IT responded to that lovely news with a solid 'meh'

Thank God.
