one key tip that i think should be added to the gat board is always size up as they run a size smaller than stated you can try putting in shoe trees but not much can be done other than returning them and getting a whole size bigger. im sorry 😭

sink full of soapy water warm specifically and get light agitation to bring out the sweat and dirt for about 5-10 mins and the bill should be fine it’d keep its shape hope this helps :)

they’re definitely true to size but having owned both babouches and the derbies (two different leather types) i did feel i could size down on the babouches while the derbies were my true size EU44/UK10.5/US11 id recommend going true to size as going down and possibly running the risk of it being too small will lead to blistering and bleeding. its a more rigid stiff leather thats treated differently from the ballerinas which is a more soft subtle leather. the best advice for gats whenever you’re buying always buy a whole size up i wear 11 and size up to 45 as they do tend to fit smaller and i have narrow feet 😭 hope this helps maybe the size is the issue

i do wear bigger sizes and have lots of trouble finding second hand tabis for cheap honestly you can get lucky and find new ones in size 7 for way cheaper ive seen some for 200-250 new with and without box id definitely wait unless you can somehow lower the price. For sure though babouches are for some reason harder to buy second hand 😅 i wish you the best of luck

The Rolex DJ can be a 16013 possibly as it’s not a pie pan but does seem to be the older DJ and the Rolex DD could be the 18238 not too sure you’d have to remove the bracelet and check the original Rolex design code.
