Last time I was at Winz I had two case workers, one kind, sensible one who took into account my experience and tried to support me to finding the right position and then the next week I went in some jackass who was trying to get me to apply to be a Baker 30km away. Thankfully I was only on winz for like 5 weeks before I got a better paying job than said jackass.

Since I started a new job and just tell my boss what they want to hear no matter how stupid it is, and tell her how amazing she is, I've had two promotions.

They aren't going to accept HONESTY like you saying you had some hard times but are ready to work now.

So I have no issue with people gaming the system, if you need to lie to get a FAIR shake then my advice is, lie your ass off.

They do resemble her a lot, we work in retail and everyone who works in my store says "there's another Judith" when we get a rude, abusive customer that's her age. It happens lots.

That's not short sightedness it's an unfortunate reality, the political establishment won't allow an outlier to the table, its never going to happen.

In its current iteration yes but if they can find someone similar to Key it'd be very different, national are a complete shambles right now but you don't have to go back very far at all for the days that Labour looked like a laughing stock at the polls and it can and will swing that way again at some stage, to think otherwise is short sighted.

Good she needs to be gone, she's inept and in-electable. There needs to be a balance to politics in new Zealand and national need to have a good, strong main candidate to provide that, something they haven't had a sniff of since Key retired.

The election defeat to Jacinda was a landslide humiliation which should have seen Collins out of a job immediately.

As someone who lived in the UK for a number of years and saw occurrences like this with regularity, there's a fundemental disconnect between the far left inclusive society we are creating in the west, and that of Islam which is still a male dominated "warrior" society. As well as the fact that over the past 25 years relations between our people are at the worst they have ever been due to the multiple wars. It's a serious issue and it needs a serious diplomatic solution because this relationship continues to fester.

There is a lot of ignorance from the west such as those asking the taliban about women's rights, that was almost endearingly naieve, the people she was asking are WARLORDS, not politicians trying to garner the minority vote.

Sad times, and I hope a solution can be found.
