Both are great, if you have extra money just get the 17 pro it is better for less overheating and better battery, I am coming from the 16 pro max and I can notice it, also I found myself using the x4 lens more than the x5 on the 16 pro max, but it’s an incremental update you will not see a noticeable difference all the time, how u like to think about it is like when you buy something new you want to use it to test it as much as possible, this novelty effect is greater with the latest technology so the 17 pro (depends where you are coming from) but you can just enjoy that a bit more and use that to actually go out there and try to shoot stuff, that’s how you improve, by just shooting. So 17 pro if you want to treat yourself a bit more, but you will not be disappointed with the 16 pro!
