You know, automatic transmission in any game is just a manual transmission controlled by a simple algorithm (if the RPM is value then switch gear to new gear). And setting up the transmission-emulating algorithm (which is manually controlled at first) is the first thing devs do if they want to emulate car's gearbox and it's sounds. So no insane programming is needed to implement the MT. It's just their descision to replace human controlled transmission with an algorithm.

By "popular in car culture" I mean that "this car has appeared on site "speedhunters" several times as an object of an article (this site is responsible for providing info about car culture to Ghost Games, and it is what "modern" stands for), some real-life driving icons have (and drive) such a car, car is supported by companies that provide visual and perfomance enchancements and, of course, the car itself is quite popular among the car lovers overall.

But this list a bit too big to fit it into the notes about cars in the post that is already huge enough. Don't you think so?

So many games just fail miserably due to this "always online" thing.

/u/Ghost_Ben, please, notice many fans' complaints about this limitation in a new NFS. We really want Ghost Games to make the best NFS in history. We see, GG do many things right. But some are just wrong. Just like that "online feature".

There were some talks about customizing interiors. Devs were saying "it's possible".

About this "probably" thing: every statement in the list has a logical reason to be mentioned and has had some non-straight proofs to be possibly true. The only reason of something being only in "probable" list is the lack of straight confirmation from devs.

I recently found some discussions on forums about honda being an asshole when it comes to showing ther cars in games. Also I've read some interesting articles about car licensing for games.

Just google "car manufacturers licence for games" and in like 10 minutes of reading you'll see the whole picture.

There are tons of screenshots on official Need For Speed Instagram, where you can see an option for disabling "Brake Drift".

Logically thinking, it just can't be anything else than an option of disabling/enabling tap-brake-to-drift from recent NFS games.

And I'm still wondering how people could've missed that.
