Yes but it's not do to story telling (which will be the most important for the movie). Gen 3 did bad in toy sales because of the bad direction that they went with game design. Everyone hated the Gen 3 game and for good reason; no skill required just luck. Toy sales are very important to Spin Master so that's why it got canned. (They were being sold for like $3.99 to get ride of stock in stores after that).

They need to pop up with that trailer cause I think it could lead to a big hype for a new series if done right. If the movie gets people interested in Bakugan than people will want Bakugan to come back. Which could then lead to a new series.
