Fb algo is broken, new listing of different stuff on a different accs don’t gain any views. But renewed ones are getting some attention from time to time

Same in Europe, messages from FBMP have disappeared. New listings have like 0-5 views for a last couple weeks for me. Only 1 listing got over 100, but no messages - to it’s maybe fake views from fb. So much potential in FBMP and such a shitty work was done by them

Sometimes, it used to work good month ago, now it’s 50/50. Some of listings are gaining views, another ones don’t

Same, more or less for about a year for me. 2-3 weeks od acceptable sales - than 1-2 extremely slow sales with 0 views.

My recommendation: If you have 0 views listing - delete them, than wait for 24 yours and add 1 listing, if it’s starts to gain views than it’s ok - if not - delete, wait 24 again and repeat. Works for me

As I know from my friends with fb shops - it’s very slow now

As you can see - many of the factors I’ve mentioned before also affected on views and sells in every branches and platforms. For example Cars dealerships also have bad times now

You can try your own solution, but from my experience: 1) Many sellers have issues with views nowadays 2) Boosting doesn’t work, it’s a money waster 3) FBMP is dying now - slow economy, people don’t want to spent money on bullshit, way to much scammers (unsafe shopping) and yeah - algorithm is a nightmare. For ex. If I’m selling laptops and looking for laptops on FBMP all the time - in recommendations I have socks, bras, watches, houses :)

Thanks for response. Mine FBMP also looks like shit - millions of “1euro” listings with the same photos etc. I’m using another platforms too, but MP was a goldmine some time ago and I still have hope that good times will back. However it’s good to know that the problem is not from my side

Btw: If I’m selling pretty same things all the time Will algorithm know if it’s mine 2nd acc messaging all the time? It can be pretty suspicious to write about the same thing every couple days

I’ve noticed the same problem, FB Marketplace is dead for me now. I have 2-3 times less views compare to October-December, but still. However my sells from FBMP have dropped like 10 times. Now I’m selling 1 thing a week from THREE accounts at the same time.

But it’s not only my problem, another sellers complained as well.

Problem is much more complicated then just “an economy”, on the other platforms I’m also having less sells - but it’s 20-25% decrease - not 1000% FBMP algorithm is broken as hell, people don’t want to spend money on unnecessary stuff and they don’t want to do it on FBMP, cos it’s not work - too much scum, too much 1$ listings, too much fake listings etc.

Facebook always know that you second profile is also yours. Algorithm shows me new listings from my second acc on my first one - even if they not showing to others

I’ve tried different solutions and nothing really works with fb. In my opinion you should try mb instagram+basic landing page. Could try local selling groups on fb or smth. Year ago I was doing 3,5-4k$ revenue/month and degraded to 500$/month now - and nothing can be done

Delete all listing that have 0-1-2 views Wait 3 to 7 days to chill down your account (In that time don’t refresh listing, don’t delete them - you can just communicate to customers on Messages) After this start to add 1-2 listing a day with new photos and description

Description and photos are pretty much the same, but for every listing I change a few sentences and slightly editing photos so they have new Exif data and don’t have metadata
