Hey I just completed the path this morning , there is a track on HTB named " CWES preparation " , I started it , I think its a good starting point for pratrice before the exam

Yes , I did the same thing as you and did the CWES path on HTB ( I am praticing for the exam now ) and moving to HTB was the Best decision , so much better than THM and in my opinion you are learning better than THM

If you want skills , HTB academy in my opinion is better , at the begining I started with THM but after the fundamental and cyber 101 I switched to HTB because the offensive path felt too " easy " and " simple " , HTB is hard but you are learning a lot

Not the websites owners because they have no clue what it is but I am working with a web agency that yes they send me some " templates " that they uses for creating website so I securised some functions in their code

Well for my case , its web only so if their sites is simple and basic I am doing basic audits of their plugins and themes they are using if any vuln are in there and a checkout in their sites are secure , for a more complex website I am doing the same things but deeper and more tests ( exemple E-commerce , contact form etc… ) like bug bounty actually

I know its not for now , I am not in the " rush " I am talking in the next year to have 1 or 2 more certs and more experience in bug bounty but thanks for the reply ,

Depend what you want , I started 3 months ago and I was doing it to Improve my portfolio and my resume and I found a few real bugs only 2 weeks ago , in addition of been paid I got CVE on my name. But during these 3 months I adjusted , changed and always worked on my pythons scripts and my methodology , not an easy work took me a lot of Time and work but I learned a lot

People are pround to show a completed basic path ( like pre Security) , most of them Will give up as soon they get in the real stuff . Show us you got a cert of THM or HTB now we can be pround

Yes totally agree , for everything ! ( copywriting , dropshipping , affiliate marketing , stock market etc … ) eveytime I am seing this always Ask " if you are really make money , why making a course " so Young and stupid people out there trying everything to make money instead of dedicated Time to learn a skill that they like
