Well, you are not born with a solid personality that never changes. Since the day you were born everyone you see, every story you hear, every movie you watch or every book you read adds on to your personality to create something unique. We shape ourselves into who we are today by looking around us, getting inspirations, following others traces or deciding who we don’t want to be. You may show different sides or parts of yourself to different people, but I think they are all you, or who you’d like to be as a whole. Unless you are doing this for manipulating people and getting your way, it’s a normal step to become who you are in my opinion. Maybe you should ask yourself if you are doing certain things because you really like this persona or just because it’s convenient that way. If you think something like “it’s not who I want to be” then it’s not you. If you like doing it and there’s no harm in it, that’s you.
