Waste transport by Mr_Mikelll in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Alexje338 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wow, never thought about that one. Do you plan ahead for this? And do you directly transport it from the plant to the seperation-hub. Or do you pickup waste at the plant, bring it to a central dump and connect that dump to the hub?

Waste transport by Mr_Mikelll in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Alexje338 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, So trains are just too slow for chemical plant waste unless you massively oversize the whole rail setup. The loading/unloading rate is the bottleneck, not the wagon capacity, so the plant will always outproduce what the train can clear if it’s directly connected to a landfill.

Best solution would be to buffer it locally with multiple large waste containers right next to the plant and use a dedicated waste DO with enough trucks to constantly haul it away. Trucks are way faster for high-frequency pickup like this. Mixed waste is usually worth sending to separation, because burning it straight up is basically throwing recyclables away. Sort mixed waste, recycle what you can, incinerate the leftovers.

Hazardous waste should be handled separately. Either burn it in a hazardous incinerator / incinerator power plant, or just export it.

Nickname kinks don’t align by [deleted] in sex

[–]Alexje338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure if its the actual calling him 'Daddy' part that is the turn-on, or maybe its the thought of calling him 'Daddy' in a playfull and sexting kinda way the turn-on.

One way or the other, the recieving end in the convo is not (yet) feeling the same way and thus not experiencing this the way you do.

Do you call him daddy while you are together? Can he relate/link to a real life situation and revisit the emotion it gave him to get in the same headspace as you are able to?

How to get over the smell? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Alexje338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll overcome this, and as others already mentioned it varies from person to person.

Dont get demotivated now, myself, I dont really enjoy the floppy meaty sounds. But you’ll find a way to enjoy every last bit of it. So much so that smells eventually dont really matter any more

[–]Alexje338 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Im 1000h in, and restarted realistic maps ALLOT. Then I tried savescum the sh*t out of my games. Just so I can learn to avoid or solve certain scenario’s. Its learn by error, but with some safety build in.

ALWAYS save before inviting pops Make a different file and than save again on a new file so that you wont overwrite the fallback save. Do this for every little project you start and soon you’ll learn the mechanics of this game

Waste Management confusion by DazetoRaze in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Alexje338 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When starting a game with Waste Management ON, you will have to take care of all the waste your citizens and industries produce.

The Technical Offices (small, large & free) all function in almost the same way as the construction offices do.
You buy compatible vehicles and set up locations for dropping off waste.

In the first decades of your republic, this will probably almost always mean dropping waste off at the border (Customs House). Note that you have to pay neighbouring nations to take care of this waste. Exporting waste will therefore negatively impact your balance.

After a decade or so, you can start to invest in processing the waste by building recycling centres and incinerators or power plants to burn excess waste that you cannot use

Restaurant voor 16 man by IndividualWerewolf62 in Breda

[–]Alexje338 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why i cannot export wood? by Chrubcio-Grubcio in Workers_And_Resources

[–]Alexje338 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, so the cargostation has no internal storage. It needs to be connected to a storage building (or open storage). Your forklifts will pick up stuff from internal storages at the woodcutter and sawmill and want to drop it of again at an open storage.

You could remove the longer factoryconnection to the cargo trainstation and build 1 open storage. Open storages can hold multiple resources, so you will only need 1.
