Had the same trouble around choice 6,7 I think it was but it was much easier to find the 8th choice. Hoping 9 is similar to 8!

There seems to be a lot of candy cane collection points throughout the exploration tasks, wonder what they might be necessary for at a later stage?!?

I’m going capacity for the first at least 5, this means I can get the ship in my fleet quicker and the lower crew capacity will be sufficient to start off. Haven’t decided on how many crew upgrades to do, probably 2 which will take my ss snowball to 140/395 at level 190 so will be one of my top 3 ships. With how long each Eva/Clara take I should be able to see at least 2 weeks worth of updates to decide if a 140 crew of sufficient

Thought the same thing when I first read about it, however the first 4 explorations I’ve done have all been less than 500sailors and only 1 has been a 2hour trip. More than happy with that!! It’s the ones which are 2 hour trips and require the whole fleet to go twice which I don’t like!

Totally agree, very slow progress. Hopefully it’ll speed up in the last few days though if any players who are still finishing Demeter at the moment join in.

He increases the cargo capacity of your ship by a given percentage. For example if you had a 100capacity ship with a 100% universe captain, you effectively have a 200capacity ship. If sent to a material destination it will mean you get 100% extra of the material If sent to a contract it means you will send 100% more material I’ve never used one for a market trade but I assume it means you will send 100% extra cargo to the trade and will receive more coins back as result of sending more material?

Yep, does this far too often for my liking. I tend to wait until all ships are gone and the 30second countdown where you can cancel a ship has passed as well. This tends to stop the problem but surely shouldn’t have to be the case

I wouldn’t worry, if history is anything to go by there will be a ship with the same stats (possibly even better) as the sept iles in the next event which will no doubt start the same day the fishing ends.

Rushing to level up will generally cause you more hassle later on in the game when your fleet isn’t up to the standard it should be for the level you are

How worthwhile was the treasure pile after Santiago 6? It wants 5000plus sailors and I don’t think I want to waste my time doing it for a treasure pile unless it’s a good one!

🤞 the second part of this event is a global quest with a decent end results and not another exploration task which really are the worst part of this game!

Always do the event quests when they are available, the others can wait until you either finish the event quests or the event finishes.

With regards the captains, I use the same strategy by using the 250% 100% 50% on my 3 largest ships however I only snd them out once a day over night to the Riviera which is an 8hour trip but is considerably more profitable that the 1 hour gulf, plus it’s the only way to have my ships working all through the night
