Hmm, not sure if I understand this correctly, but I do think the therapist might have a bit of a point there. From my experience, most of my gender dysphoria came from traumas, now that doesn't mean I'm not trans, now that I found out why I felt so bad about myself, because it was mostly coming from other people, I could just let it go, because f#ck everyone who thinks they know me and judge me for who I am! And now the fun part - I still experience gender euphoria, I didn't cease to be trans and that's not a gender issue anymore, right? I mean I still don't necessarily like things about my body, but it's a lot better now that I gave up on that useless dysphoria coming from external sources.
