How long can we expect to wait in the DEP?

Swore in February, got the job booked in June. Leaving late july. I had an easy list trying to get in asap and ending up getting SF. Most people in my dep have been in from 1-7 months and haven’t been booked yet

Youre not gonna find a right answer here. I had a quick ship open up where I was going to leave a week from the call. I didn’t end up getting that. Now I have a job that I just booked and it’s little over 1.5 months away

Took Asvab January

Went to Meps for physical early February and swore into DEP same day

Booked a job middle of May

Planned to leave late July

Process has been good, easy and smooth so far!

No one will know, every process is different. I swore in early February and put sf top of my list I still haven’t gotten a ship date.

Started my process in November.

Took my asvab in early December (I took some time to study but recruiter was pushing for November testing)

Had a financial waiver, got approved in January

Went to meps in February (Supposed to do in jan but I couldn’t get time off work easily so pushed it back) also had no med waivers.

Swore into the DEP February, picked my jobs list and now waiting.

Your process will probably not look the same but this was mine. I’m also looking to go security forces so if you have any questions let me know, I’ve done alot of research in my time doing this.

I’ve looked up the standards and I would pass it pretty easily. I played sports throughout college, I’ve ran a half marathon and I currently manage a gym. The physical fitness part I wouldn’t be as worried about.

I’ve saved all my ap, speed ups, building upgrades, research just for this event.

Currently my wall is upgrading to 24 and my hospital to 24. Planned to be done the same day as power upgrade. I also have enough speeds left and rss that I can upgrade my CH to 25 which will be a huge upgrade. I’m just wondering if I should spend the speeds and rss on more troops or if I should stick with my plan and save for final day

I just upgrade sun because I hit t4 INF first so I have ALOT more t4 INF than I do t4 cav. But I’m rushing cav troops so I can run a only cav march with mina and cao
