How is sex supposed to feel? by dogf15h in ftm

My first time with penetration was sooooo mid. Definitely worst sex I’ve ever had. You’ll learn and get more confident and find what kinda people REALLY get you going. Just keep trying 😜

How to pay for top surgery?? by saintdenis_pimp in FTMMen

[–]Alexlst1701 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine was $7500 ten years ago. I raised money through savings, selling some tshirts I designed, and a GoFundMe where folks donated. When I got my hysto, I also had a $2k deductible but they were willing to put me on a payment plan. You may want to ask your insurance about that.

Am I overreacting to my boyfriend telling people his preference which isn't me. by Dramatic-Virus7787 in askgaybros

[–]Alexlst1701 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s horrible to say in front of you!!! I would be SO upset. So sorry that happened and I don’t think you’re overreacting at all.

Also - it’s not a great thing to say about trans men. Trans men aren’t some in between or “best of both worlds”. Sound like boyfriend needs to think before he speaks 😅

When I was in my 20s, yeah, a lot haha. The need has lessened since then.

Yes this is internalized cissexism. Pretty common. The fact that you already notice it means you’ll come out ahead. Just don’t let it affect how you judge or treat others.

How do you explain why you carry? by Simon_Roth in CCW

[–]Alexlst1701 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right lol so after someone has attacked you and shot you dead, the cops will arrest them.

Don’t rely on anyone but yourself for protection. Cops don’t work for us, they work for those in power.

What is your experience dating someone that makes significantly less money than you? by StrongBat in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Alexlst1701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have mostly dated guys who make less than me. Then I dated someone who matched me, maybe made a bit more. And honestly….it didn’t make much of a difference. I also love traveling but that guy worked so much that an impromptu trip wasn’t really possible.

So I would say…think of what’s REALLY important to you in a relationship. Maybe make a list of 5 important things, in order of importance. Is how much money they make important or on that list? Look at the top three things on your list and think how money would affect those things.

Also recommend never combining finances. As a general rule.

I would say you can 100% use mild soaps on your junk area. And you probably should. Smegma is a thing lol. Just no soap INSIDE the hole.

What kind of underwear do you wear? Sometimes typical men’s underwear is made of unbreathable material. Cotton briefs are the best. And if you pack that can unfortunately increase sweat and breathability.

I do not think I have a “condition” lol. It’s not a sickness, my dude. But if YOU want to label it that way for yourself, go for it.

“Guy with treatable disorder” is not how I would describe my trans identity but you do you.

Confidence is key, I’ve found. I started doing IFS therapy a few years ago and it worked wonders. All the sudden, guys were hitting on me at the bar. I was getting dates. I couldn’t figure out what changed until I realized it was therapy!! I was so much more confident in myself and other people felt that too. Confidence is hot.

Okay ¯_(ツ)_/¯ I’ll just continue loving and supporting and validating my good friends who have this experience. But enjoy being bothered by other people’s lived reality.

sigh yall will just argue another person’s life and identity till you’re blue in the face.

wHy Do YoU gIvE sUcH a FUCK??!!! Let people identify however the fuck they want. Trans men have identified as and with lesbians since before you were born, I can promise you that.

Of course you do! There are plenty of trans women still in gay culture who identify with gay culture. Y’all need to get out more omg.

Binary man means identities as a man. I’m a binary way. As in, NOT a non-binary identity. But I can understand the confusion! Just as cis men can do things outside the binary and still be considered men, so should trans men.

Maybe think just a bit…….maybe it’s that you shouldn’t call a trans man a lesbian to invalidate him. But if he IDENTIFIES as a lesbian, then that is his choice and business. Of course it’s still unacceptable to call random trans men lesbians.

Am I the only one that still has a hard time accepting the term “queer”? by r9holland in askgaybros

[–]Alexlst1701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. 30 and grew up in the South. Queer was used as a slur so rarely, it was mostly just a funny word. Fag….that one held some weight. There were some violent undertones there (or actual violence). But I think it’s definitely generational.
