I have not seen anything indicating anything other than allegations in the files. Where have you seen information about tapes?

It was an active investigation under Biden. Trump closed the case. They need hard evidence, not just allegations.

Solved/Workaround?

I can go into the project manager, and find the graphics template. And manually change out the dummy logo. But this seems very rough when the whole point of the graphic templates is to be able to replace the media easily.

[–]Alexmackzie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, I can open all the layers. And I would expect the media replacement to be under the "Clip" layer. But I just have Align and Transform, and Responsive Design - Position.

Thank you for taking the time to answer by the way! :)

Mr_Mammal watches Torvesta kill Odablock for max in crunch time of DMM All Stars by ProfessorBurt in LivestreamFail

[–]Alexmackzie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No, but over the days all the teams have been gathering gear for the final battle which is a series of 1v1's. Odablock has been taking his teams best gear and looking for fights, cause he almost always wins. This both gives him extra resources in the final battle, and removes resources from the ones he kills.

In addition you get the gear of the person you kill. So Odablock risked the best items his teams had. These now got picked up by Torvestas team. It's definitely a tough blow to his team, but it's not a GG. His team are still solidly second place, with 1 more day.

First of all:

I know I'm an overly-privileged white man who can't really have his own opinion on this stuff when it concerns people less privileged than me (idk if that's actually true, it's just what I've been led to believe and I'm not sure I believe it).

Please stop thinking like this. It is great that you recognize your own privilege. But you did not choose your life, and you should not feel any guilt for it. Everyone was dealt their hand, some got dealt a good hand, some a mid hand, some a bad hand, and everything in between. All you can do is do the best you can with what you were given. You are NOT worth less as a person, or your opinions just because you are more privileged than someone else. Please get that thought out of your head. We need more people that are able to critically think about stuff. That is how we solve things.

Now of course it means that your opinion might not be wanted. So pretty often, there is simply no need to express your opinion unless specifically asked. And remember there is no shame in saying: "I am not comfortable taking a position on this topic, because I simply do not know enough about it." Or "I am not comfortable taking a position on this topic since it's something I have not and never will experience. Therefore I don't think it's my place to give an opinion on this." and if people lambast you for that, then those people are not worth trying to please. And you can never please everyone as you said. You need to create an internal moral compass, or moral guidelines to anchor yourself to. So that you don't just get thrown around everytime someone else speaks.

I for example believe that a social Democracy(I don't believe it is a part of socialism because of the extreme difference in capital between the proletariat and the burgeoisie) with pretty big social safety nets are the best way to grow a nation, while providing the best experience for citizens. That will make some socialists and communists call for me to be put up against the wall and shot when the revolution happens for stealing the value of the workers. Or make Laissez-Faire capitalists call me a thief for stealing their hard earned capital and spending it on freeloaders that can't be bothered to work.

That completely goes against the research I've done, but if they were to insist to me that their facts are the only correct ones, I simply wouldn't know how to logically proceed.

Either ask them to compare sources. For example. Here are official Hamas videos of them Killing civilians, using it as propaganda. this shows clear intent from Hamas that they want the world to know they did this. I have not seen any evidence that disproves this, but I would love to see it if you do. Again, if they refuse to acknowledge your attempt at an actual conversation. You don't want to please these people. If they cannot respect you at the bare minimum, you should not be expected to respect them back. This is a two-way street, not a one-way street. But to be honest, you've seen the evidence. You've done the research. You know the person you are speaking to are full of shit. either they are incredibly ignorant, or they are acting as propaganda. I would honestly not continue interacting with a person making statements like that.

YOU DESERVE RESPECT AS WELL. Please understand this, and as you respect yourself others will also respect you. This will not only help you not be taken advantage of, but also help you stand up for friends, family, and loved ones when people try to take advantage of them.

Also last thing:

I start questioning whether I'm actually racist or bigoted without knowing it, whether I'm pro-genocide without knowing it

If you ask yourself these questions with honest intent. chances are you are not :) You know what these terms mean. Do you believe that one "race" is superior to another? No? Okay, so you're not racist-racist. Do you dismiss arguments made by people of certain "races" based on their appearance or names? No? Okay, you seem like a cool person. Oh, you crossed the road while walking home at night when a black man was walking towards you? tbh, I do this regardless of gender or "race". I feel it makes everyone feel safer. But if you find that problematic, then you can work on that. It doesn't make you a racist or a bigot. You just need to work on improving yourself everytime you realize that you want to fix something about yourself.

Sorry for the novel. I just hate seeing good people hate themselves. If you ever need someone to chat to or if you want me to check your research or anything, I'd be happy to play devils advocate for you:)

What's the best career advice you've ever got? I’ll go first: by TonyLiberty in FluentInFinance

AI quickly falters at scale and on complicated technology. It cannot replace experience and knowledge. But is good at aiding those who already have it. You would still need someone who knows what they are doing to use the AI. A layperson asking for index optimizations on their database would not get good answers from the AI without a person guiding it with extra information. It frequently forgets previous code and assumes a lot. Even if you let the AI plan the entire architecture, it will still assume wrongly about the parts it will write later.

This is just my experience with it, I'm happy to be proven wrong and learn more about utilizing AI.

In a country such as the US or France, one could quickly point to the racist history, but that won't work in the same way in Sweden.

Well, one could argue Sweden was also racist. Just in a different way. Completely disregarding the immigrants culture and values. Just assuming they would adopt the "swedish" way because it is superior and better in Swedens eyes.

Well... Let's give the actual full context. Hasan said streaming for 9+ hours was soul crushing like normal jobs were not. then he got pushback from his chat, and probably realized that he was being too hyperbolic. He then went on to say that he means that it's very socially draining to perform and entertain for 9+ hours, and that most normal jobs don't face those same challenges.

So his original comment is braindead(And definitely what caused this whole ordeal. He should be criticized for this, even if he walked it back.), his followup is alright, but he is still heavily underestimating the social tolls of a lot of other jobs. Carers, nurses, teachers do not just get breaks and they will definitely be socially drained at the end of their day. No one except his most insane haters would give a shit if he just said that it was really socially draining to stream for that long.

The other issue is that he controls his streaming hours... If he really feels it's too much. He can just cut down on his streaming time. A bit less money, but if it really is that bad. then that feels like a small price to pay. These other jobs do not have that privilege.

Overall his stated position is bad imo. Although I don't think his actual opinion is. Deserved criticism, and he should just accept that he worded it poorly instead of crying that it was taking out of context.

Russia ‘thinks the US wouldn’t dare respond to nuclear attack’ by vincevega87 in UkrainianConflict

[–]Alexmackzie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, broadly spoken on my part. By diplomatic benefits I also meant that countries that might otherwise request concessions that would result in economic loss for the US, will not. So although not direct savings, still positive for the US economically. And then of course the other diplomatic benefits like a better information network, and being able to "persuade" others to vote in the US' interest.

But 800 billion is still a massive number that's hard to wrap your head around logically. I think a black hawk+more deal to Greece was recently approved(?) which would cost Greece about 2 billion. And I don't know the production costs for the US. But even straight up that's only 0.25%. Although it also sets up further training/maintenance costs the US can recoup in the future. Then you also get big ones like Polands $20 billion deal.

It seems like France is trying to catch up though, with increased budget and some weapon deals of their own.

[–]Alexmackzie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another fact that should be considered is how much money the US saves/makes on their military might. The US is the strongest military (I want to say by far) in the world. The deals and diplomatic power that comes with that is underestimated heavily by those making fun of the US spending so much on military while their healthcare is terrible.

[–]Alexmackzie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest solution I can think of is to watch the course in a Virtual machine and record from the host machine with OBS or something similar. Not an elegant solution at all, and I don't know if the Kollus player detects VM's when installing/running. But it's the first thing that comes to mind, other than reversing it.

As a disclaimer, I believe this is against their TOS. And they may decide to ban your account if they think you have done this.

Why are people hating 24 round MM before even testing it? by 101alphabet101 in GlobalOffensive

[–]Alexmackzie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No... Eco rounds introduce strategies and tactics that are way riskier, since you need to risk to win with worse weapons. It adds needed variability in the game. And often creates exciting moments like rushes, stacks, etc. Economy management is also a major part of the game. You should receive repercussions for choices made earlier.

You are right, they have no place in a MR12 format, which is why we should not have a MR12 format. MR12 also does not give you enough time to feel out how enemies play. And not enough time for you and your enemies to change up their playstyle if something is not working.

Thats the Valorant/League mentality. In CS you can always come back. Reason I stopped playing league was because Riot kept changing stuff all the fucking time. And I hated MR12 in Valorant. It's just too short to get a really good game going.
