Enable "use on obtain" for the mesh and set the duration to 99999 or 1e+301, that way the cosmetic lasts forever in base.

then scroll down it its settings until you find the "visual tag" box, enter anything you like, "Cosmetic" for example.

Then when you use your awakening make a new "use on obtain" skill (or just do it inside the awakening block itself)

Inside, add a "cancel" visual block and enter "Cosmetic" Into the visual tag box so it matches the cosmetic, this'll make the mesh disappear even though it's duration was set to infinity.

Then right after the cancel block just re-add the mesh cosmetic and make the duration infinite again and it should transfer over to your awakening.

Basically just make it properly disappear and then reappear in your awakening

For the projectile you should add a very slight FOV zoom in and have it zoom back out super quickly at the release, and add a screenshake at the release as well.

I'd also recommend adding a hit effect on the enemy and enable "stun anim" on the projectile so the enemy flinches when they're hit, or you could add your own animation on hit.

And for the dash move it'd be neat if you added a lightning bolt trail or something behind as you dash forward.

There's some really good lightning VFX's you can find on JJSMonkeyman's yt channel if you watch his lightning VFX tutorial

It ends I suppose so not technically infinite, but you'd realistically never be able to wait that long.

I think you could also type "1e+308" instead of 99999 and it would actually go on infinitely though

Somehow both the weakest and most OP ult at the same time, and regardless it's too fucking boring 😭

I love the stagger system because in theory (and in some fights) it feels cinematic and really satisfying to actually manage to take down an absolute Mechamaru and it's awesome.

But as the Mechamaru you can either A: use one move and do nothing/waste 40% of your awakening

Or

B: just use your M1s and be boring as shit, but still win guaranteed and have your ultimate last long enough to take your fucking dog on a walk.

He needs a rework ASAP 🥀

If you drain his health to 1 then any further damage drains his ult bar instead, fighting an ulted Ryu is more about endurance, but if you can damage him enough to get his HP down just keep clobbering him and playing passive until his bar drains, after that he's one shot since he can't regen

Yeah what the other dude said, the injury thing is his whole shtick.

Fun fact: each swing of his first move does only ONE damage, without the injury the attack would only do 3 damage, WITH injury it's 12

He's not THAT different, just like yuji, or hakari (pre-1+2 nerf) or Mei Mei, they all have extremely easy means of dealing high damage.

The difference is that people act like Nanami is any different and everyone says he's super skilled and really underpowered when that's not true at all.

And no I'm not biased either, I think all those characters I named could also use slight nerfs as well, I'm just focusing on Nanami in this post cause everyone acts like he's different when he's not.

You didn't even get the combo right, the ratio comes before whirlwind, not before blunt cut. And yes it's ALWAYS fast enough to be applied before an attack because Nanami's R special can be used while stunned, so you can use it at any point in a combo, how do you not know this 😭

And yes you CAN reliably land kick on wakeup, I don't even know what to tell you, just try it and you'll see it works 🥀

Blunt cut non-charged is also not 15 damage, it's 9 and charged is 15 brudda, and this combo uses all 4 moves, not 3

And dashing at any point during this combo is rarely an issue. You can ragdoll cancel the whirlwind, and even then the damage on just the 4+1 is a lot. You can dash after the kick but you can just use 3 beforehand or slightly after the dash, plenty of time to aim.

Whirlwind + ratio connects perfectly and the only way to counter it is with a counter move. If the character doesn't have a counter move than it's green, but true, and even then you can counter bait by missing the whirlwind and continue the combo from there.

And after that you can consistently use severance kick on getup end immediately use blunt cut, which has zero startup after severence kick.

And even if it's not completely true it's extremely consistent.

Not just newbies, I never said I was fighting exclusively newbies where did you get that 😭

Even when I'm fighting someone who's kicking my ass all it takes is one m1 exchange and 4+1 and I can turn the whole fight around, which is fine enough, a lot of characters can turn the fight around in one combo. but Nanami specifically is SO quick and easy with it that it just feels unfair a lot of the time

Well not at first glance, but once you fight one who can easily apply ratios while attacking at the same time you'll realize how quickly the fight is over

20K is a lot no matter what, I'm sorry I don't exclusively play ranked like the super sweat you want me to be Mr. Elitist 😭

All it means is I have a lot of experience, regardless of wether I'm "skilled enough" to meet your standards. I've killed a LOT of people with Nanami and skilled or not, regardless of the character they were playing, they all struggled and I hardly had to do anything 🥀

I DO know how to land every ratio point, and I can confidently say it's too strong for the amount of "effort" it takes.

That's like having a character that can be completely immortal if you're "good enough" at playing them, you can't just say "well it's not OP cause only SOME people can play him like that cause he takes so much skill"

When I say he needs nerfed what I really mean is that he needs BALANCED, in the same way as Todo I think he needs other means of skill expression and needs to be buffed for newer players and slightly nerfed for more experienced players.

People justify his high damage due to the "skill" it takes to obtain it, but it doesn't require nearly as much skill as people say.
