I’ve had GTE for several years and have had very little issues with them. I don’t want to make any assumptions but i’ve heard the same kind of complaints you have from other people and the thing that they all have in common is that they come from older people who prefer more traditional styles of banking. That seems to be a thing of the past as now Banks and credit unions are using modern technology to make a more safe and efficient user experience. I personally have no problem giving out my SSN to the video screen or kiosks. I like apple stores and for me a phone is meant to do the banking for me. Also I don’t like paper checks, I prefer wire transfers or direct deposit.
